If I did my job as proficiently as LSU's coaches have developed QB's, I would be fired. And these coaches make 6 and 7 figures a year. Even the '11 offense was a little better than mediocre. Special teams is what got LSU leads and kept them in games. Honestly, I'd be ashamed to make the kind of money Miles makes and produce such incompetent work. I'm not sure what gets in the way of Miles being a productive coach more, his arrogance or his ego. He would rather watch his team lose than admit he was wrong. Has anyone else heard that he threatened Stud before the '11 NC game, that if Lee went in Stud would be looking for a new job? Not sure if this is fact or just rumor, but watching Miles on the sideline, doing nothing but watching the ship sink, made me question if he even gives a damn whether LSU wins or losses. I hate writing negative things, but it just pisses me off how LSU has one of the highest paid coaching staffs in college football and they produce a product that's not even ranked in the top 25 of the profession. I work hard for my living, and I'm held accountably when my work is sub-par, Les Miles isn't.

How in the world would it change my perspective to see a team that beat LSU at home lose to a team with a QB making his 2nd career start?

Miles may be stubborn, but anyone who really believes he doesn't care is an idiot. And stop comparing your real job to coaching football.

Les is the most successful coach in LSU and one of top 5 most successful in college football since 2005. That's my perception and it's also reality. No matter how much the negative clowns want to ignore his success.

LSU is very fortunate to have had a coach like Les leading our program.

Agreed. The offense can be frustrating as hell, but LSU has consistently been a good to great team pretty much every year since les got here.

My real job!?! What the hell does Miles have, it's not a job!?! Where does the money come from that pays his salary?!?! I tell you where it comes from, it comes from people like me who work for their living!?! From the time I served my country in Desert Storm, I realized the importance of doing a job to the very best of ones ability! That means everyday, all day, no exceptions!!! If Miles cared so much then why would he stand on the sidelines like an idiot and watch his team lose a championship game and try nothing different. He could have at least given Lee a shot, but he didn't. That is not a display of someone who 'cares'. My perception isn't based on idiotic ideals or any biased motivation, it's based on what witnessing Miles production and lack thereof. Miles job, or whatever you would like to consider it, is a job he gets paid to do. And as long as he gets paid to do it, then it's a job!!!! An idiot is someone who refuses to believe anything is wrong as the Titanic is slowly sinking!!!!

You poor little abused child! I feel sorry that you were abused and mistreated like you were. I know it was rough on you getting you arse whipped everyday at school and then going home to the same shite. It causes an inferiority complex, low self esteem and insecurity. But, with time, you can overcome these adverse mental developments. It won't be easy for you, first you must grow a pair of nuts, then understand how to use this new found state of being. Which I doubt you do, considering how profoundly the abuse has affected you. Though I'm sure with the right counseling and the right help, you can overcome. But, you must first admit you have these problems and only then will you be able to move forward and mature into becoming a sound and stable and productive member of society and manhood. It won't be easy, having an under developed mentality that is hindered by events from the past and present will cause you to regress to an even lower state of maturity. This will manifest it in your uncontrollable need to attempt social humiliation and degradation of others, especially those who you perceive as superior to you intellectually, physically and socially. You may even suffer from a Napoleon Complex. It's not uncommon for someone who has no physical handicap to develop a Napoleon Complex. Some males develop this due to their lack of physical height, or possibly their lack of male endowment. Regardless of what has happened that you have developed these mental traits, you can overcome and develop into a mature and well balanced male, but with professional help I'm certain. Then again, you may be a girl. As always, I am, ! And to anyone who has a problem with that!
