I trust the coaches who see him in every practice and the other times he came in (like his awful showing vs Southern) to decide what his capabilities are relative to Daniels

Daniels was sacked 43 times in a little more than 12 games. UGA sacked him 3 times. That all on the O-line? LSU was 124th in sacks allowed. That is record futility for this program, but yeah, I will blindly trust BK.

I do. Why? Because the fricking coaches, who know 1,000 times more than we do, say so.

Avoiding sacks is the main thing a QB must do. He does not need to be a big aspect of the run game. In fact, I submit that too much running risks injury needlessly...hey wait.

Nussmeier turned the ball over twice. He's too careless with the football.

I would suggest Nuss be given a role in the Bowl game cause if he does not
and he enters the portal a few WRs may walk to secure more catches and better draft status.
There is no reason why a two QB system can not be used when an opposing team thinks they can play up close to the line cause one QB has no deep threat.
If the Saints can have multiple QBs to present multiple offensive threats fo a defense why cant the Tigers?

Daniels was done no favors by Denbrock and Kelly. It’s a square peg round hole situation. He’s a running QB who we dropped back way too much. We were at our best when we ran the ball more than we threw and JD was heavily involved in the running game with designed runs not scrambles. Nuss fits this offense better because Denbrock wants to push the ball downfield. You often saw fans complain of too many deep routes for JD which is true.

of, I think Nuss should have got a series here and there in games where we weren't doing much offensively. Hopefully he could have loosened up the defense to have to play the long ball and thus opening up the short game more for Daniels.
Like Arkansas? A game we won by three. Nuss could have come in, and loosened up the defense…or, he could have thrown a game losing interception. THAT is hindsight YOU don’t have the benefit of.

As opposed to your assessments based on a half of play that included two turnovers while totally ignoring a putrid showing earlier in the season? I'll believe BK every day.
I'll change my mind when any football program comes knocking on your door.

What do the Saints have to do with LSU? Two QBs = no QBs.

Man, you must be on the wrong drugs. Wow.
JD5 is not likely be drafted as a QB. Most teams would not take him as a QB over what they currently have.

A poor analogy at best. This is a CFB message board, not a hospital.
What exactly do you know about Covid? Was that putative virus ever isolated, purified and characterized? Link the papers that claim to have done so.
Thanks.

Against SEC daniels has a 65.6 QBR. 4 fumbles and 2 INT’s. Yes daniels may throw less picks but
1. He holds the ball entirely so long max johnson was like “damn he holds the ball too long”
2. Hard to throw picks when you throw 10-15 yard out routes ONLY.
3. Kayshon boutte and other WR’s were ready to transfer before he finally threw the ball decently against (checks notes) new mexico state.
Daniels is better off going to the draft because nuss is leaving and walker howard is going to destroy that kid

Spot on, das Boot. I do not know what is difficult to understand about this. He was sacked 43 times this year. 43! WFT? We need someone more nearly like Nuss.

Maybe instead of having such a boner about who the QB is we stop giving up 250 yards rushing a game.
That’s what I thought when I saw Nuss play last night.

All the more reason you need explosive plays. The defense has had small stretches of good play this season but overall was average at best. Having a conservative offense doesn’t compliment our D.

Ahhhhhh, the board racist chiming in all you do is bash nuss...in fact yesterday before he played you called him trash. You are in fact a racist scum pos.
Posted on 12/4/22 at 4:13 pm to TheSearch
Well, do you propose replacing the entire defense? I am suggesting that we change QBs an eminently more practical solution.
