At the very least let Nuss start the bowl game. Have we not a clear picture of Daniels’s strengths and more importantly weaknesses to allow this?

In hindsight, which coaches don't get the benefit of, I think Nuss should have got a series here and there in games where we weren't doing much offensively. Hopefully he could have loosened up the defense to have to play the long ball and thus opening up the short game more for Daniels.

It’s really an evaluation based on if the O-line can protect a pocket passer. Nussmeier is a better pocket passer. As of today, I’d say we don’t have that yet. Maybe after this recruiting cycle. JD5 got the start BC he can definitely run better than the other QBs. If he could improve as a pocket passer (not a given) he could be very special. That’s what I think.
