Maybe if he focuses on it he can be. If you recall he almost didn't come to LSU B/C of baseball. That is why I asked. The Astros wouldn't give up the $$. He seems to love baseball. He may be one of those guys that can do both well and be GREAT at one. If he has a great year in football, you mayt be right. IF he doesn't, I am sure PM would love to have him.

if chad gets drafted in the first round of the nfl draft, i will eat a turd. He is too slow. He can be an awesome pitcher with a little development. his future is in baseball.

STFU. He's one of the fastest players on defense and has the best ball skills of anybody not named Pat Peterson.

If he is faster than Steltz he doesn't play like he is or look like he is. What are you going off of to state that? Looks like he should be playing linebacker to me also. Can't see him playing safety in the NFL. When they switched Coleman to LB I was wishing it would have been Jones instead and left Coleman at safety.

chad is either slower than steltz or he is perpetually "a little" out of position. yes, he has made some great plays, but is there one when he arrived as the ball was getting there down the field. not that i can recall. he has been moved to fs. does anyone on here think he plays with the same speed as laron, not even close. loston should start at fs by the end of the year if he can get his shite strait.

steltz was always out of position in zone coverage
chad has problems covering slot WRs when he plays nickel back and is in man defense
i'd love to see steltz match up against slot WRs in man coverage

laron ran 1 miracle 4.35 and everyone acts like he was insane in coverage. laron had plenty of coverage issues

i love an OU fan coming here and saying chad jones cant play safety in the NFL because he's seen that OU slow shits like Nic Harris and Roy Williams fail in the NFL.
