They just tied it up and it looks like it may go into OT. If they hold on and win, they have the potential to make it into a BCS bowl (Sugar or Orange) thus knocking out OU (likely). Does that change the pecking order of bowls and hurt/help LSU?

Null effect to LSU either way.

Does not affect SEC pick order at all.

It helps in my opinion. Texas won't be in the Cotton bowl since the big 12 pecking order will shift so that may open the door for Lsu to be selected for that game. Oklahoma state vs Lsu would be cool

How does the change of B12 school in the cotton at all change the SEC pick?

If anything, Texas not being in that bowl decrease the odds LSU is there.

I hear the powers that be in Texas do not want their Longhorns embarrassed by Johnny Football.

LSU and OU in Cotton would make quite an interesting matchup

doesn't affect us anymore....aTm is going to the Cap One. LSU will goto the Cotton and was going to regardless of the winner of the MACCG. The only thiing it affects would be the team. If Kent St. won, it would've been OU/K-State. Now that Kent St. lost, OU/K-State will take two BCS spots.

Expect a Oklahoma State/Texas vs. LSU Cotton Bowl. My guess is it will be Texas.
