James Franklin at LSU could be a pretty good hire, just throwing a name out there I haven't heard. I'm aware he's got an a-hole vibe to him but at this point I don't care. I think it's Cristobal who is going to say no and then you have Campbell and finally Kiffin. Who the hell knows but please hire a good, young P5 HC that is all I ask.

You don't want Urban. He's done with coaching, doubt he stays at Jacksonville for the whole season

Lane Kiffin ain't coming . He will self destruction as he always does.

Fickell....probably not but he is the best choice.

Cristobal....Phil Knight will make sure that Eugene is his home. You want to go up against Nike money?

LSU has problems that go far beyond Orgeron. None here want to admit it though....Miles created much of it to compete against Saban and Orgeron inherited it and does not know what to do about it. Ask yourself why guys have been leaving the program after a national championship? We should be having guys transferring in, but we really don't

Gimme a break. If he were done with coaching why would he come back and coach the NFL. It’s a pipe dream but I could see a Saban type situation with Urban.

I think so as well but doubt he would leave Penn State, he is a Pennsylvania native and I think that job is the one he always wanted (or the Steelers).

If LSU could pull him, I'd be really happy about that.

He's done with college coaching. His health issues have had to do with major anxiety attacks that periodically would land him in hospitals for overnight observation. He is tightly wound . The professional game is not nearly as stressful. You have GM s that handle " recruiting" or free agency or trades.

Sean Payton basically takes off for about a month and a half after the season, then comes back, works 9-5 M-Th until right before the draft. Then would organize mini camp then take the month of June off for the most part. College coaches don't do that. They recruit on their time off, manage the program, deal with bullshite, etc.

What is this about?

It's not uncommon for players to move to the next level after winning a natty. I would guess the alternative is more rare.
