Is there any chance we get Kendall Briles? I truly believe if he came in and we get some juniors to stay, we would be a national contender....of course assuming Aranda doesn't leave. Any insiders out there? I searched but only got him mentioned as a "wish". I want our leadership to go and get a complete game changer.

Could you imagine Kendall Briles with this loaded offense coming back? Please God.

Not sure why the downvotes. I'm being really serious, maybe I missed something this week since I actually work and haven't been on the site for a while.

Steve deserves a chance to get the right people in there to be successful. If he gets his personnel in and falls on his face then get rid of him.

Seriously, wtf do I not understand? O doesn't make much money we should have the two best and highest paid coordinators. I'm not trolling, I'm serious as a heart attack. But after the responses I guess I can expect the same old same old.

I just think with who's coming back, Aranda finally opening his book, the good play by Queen last week and I assume Delpit, Phillips and Rashard Lawrence as all Americans then next year could be really special.

First things first. Have to have an offensive line that can block so you can run your offense.

My issue with this is that Steve had the talent this year and he has to be extremely intimidated by Bama. In my opinion the okay calling last week was way too conservative. Every team that has beaten Bama lately has played a more loose and wide open offense, knowing that turnovers are a possibility but we get basic plays when our line was getting blasted. You can't be top tier and go into a game like that with 2 weeks and not open it up or at least have other options to move the ball and sustain drives.

Something has to give because Lsu has top quality athletes and should never be blanked like that and Steve has been blanked twice at home. It's embarrassing because our defense gave us a great shot to win but the offense was archaic and just looked terrible, other than the few throws Burrow was able to connect on.

Ben, just give it up, man. Coach Ensminger cannot get it done no matter what personnel is in there because he does not know what the hell he is doing. There will always be 2 or 3 defenses on our schedule that he simply cannot compete with.

Like I said, all I saw that was recent was about people wishing and who they would love to have.

I'm asking a serious question. I just want to know if anyone that has inside info even knows if a new OC is being considered. Don't get your undies in a wad, I work 60 hours a week and do not have the time to check this site every day like some people. Sorry if my thread bothers you.

No one has mentioned any inside info. Everyone's best guess is that Orgeon is happy with Ensminger because he's said so publicly several times.

I slept on it again. I do not believe there is any way Ensminger can get us where we need to be. I stand firm. We're 2 to 3 losses per season with Ensminger.

Thank you for the answer. I've been very busy lately and this situation has bothered me. I feel the team has exceeded expectations but I think we were severely under rated from the start. But the disastrous effort against Bama at home, twice for SE, has been terrible.

That's exactly how I feel. Just like pissing in the wind. We as fans need to put some pressure on leadership in some way.
