Do you look at this game as an automatic gimmie or do you actually have respect for said team?

Troy can score. The games aren't big until you lose them. Ask mich and usc...

Troys strength is our weakness, they better not be over looking them.

I don't think they are overlooking Troy but it wouldn't suprise me if they were still down from the Alabama game.

I don't think the guys on this team have ever had to deal with being out of contention for the SEC championship this early in November.

They may come out flat for that reason. I hope I am wrong, they come out angry and lay the smack down on.

No, but this could still be a close game. I originally said 28-14 Tigers, but 24-17 or 28-21 might be closer to it. Two reasons: we're not putting away decent teams this year, and Troy appears to be a decent team. I remember watching them play the Buckeyes in front of 102,000 in Columbus earlier this year, and they made a game out of it for the most part. Lost 28-10, but they were hardly blown out.

LSU can't look at any team as a gimmie this year with the big plays given up on D and the picks on O.

We should win, but I'm sensing we see another game like Tulane...just not that impressive. Believe me, I'm dying to see the Tigers open it up on someone. I'd like to see us finish the season strong.

I think the fans are overlooking it more than the team. It will be a decent game to watch and although this 6-3 troy team is not strong, they will give LSU a pretty good challenge in the first half.

LSU can't afford to over-look ANY team. They are simply not that much better than Troy. I think some fans are VERY deceived by LSU's 6-3 record. LSU has not beat any team that is really all that good. Our best win was probably SC. The 3 best teams in the SEC beat us, 2 of'em were blowouts!

This game will be closer than most of you think.
Using a common foe, which I know is not a great measure, but the one I have.
vs. UNT
Troy won 45 - 17
LSU won 41 - 3

It would be arrogant for us to overlook anyone at this point.

Wouldn't call it overlooking, but we will be flat as a pancake. It's mentally tough to bounce back from that kind of loss.

It'll be an ugly, sluggish game.

If the players are like the fans (lots and lots of tickets) then they are certainly overlooking Troy.
