KS and PP7 aren't the only guys we have on defense. If you think that we don't have any other leaders then you are just blind.

Mett will throw for 5 touchdowns in this game... to himself.

And rush for 236 yards, intercept 4 passses and make 65 tackles, 30 behind the line.

Peterson gone

Wrong

Peterson is a better and more talented player obviously, but Sheppard's leadership and 108 tackles are what made that defense what it is. The secondary is very deep and got a ton of experience this year, the LB corp has some huge shoes to fill.

I am hopefull that our offensive will be much improved (new Qb) and that our defense will be just as effective as they were this year

Here's what I used to tell my teammates back in HS. "Respect all, but fear none." If you go into a game afraid that you will get your arse kicked, then you will get your arse kicked. That's the way it is. I've spent enough time with the team to know that they believe they can win the game. Therefore, I believe they will win.

i'm pretty sure oregon has like 21 or 23 seniors on this current team. lamichael james will be draft eligible, he may be gone. i think we'll have a better idea after we see them play against an SEC team in a couple weeks. obviously they are really good but people get caught up in teams blowing out inferior opponents which they do often.

Yes LSU can win.

They are losing 3 starters on the O-line, both starting wide receivers. They are losing two starting D-lineman, two starting LB's, and two in the secondary (one corner, one safety). LaMichael James is coming back. They will have 11 starters back overall.

Of course several backups have played on the O-line, D-line, LB, and in the secondary consistently throughout the year so they will have experience.

I'm an equipment manager for the football team.

And even though this isn't HS, the same principles apply.

Can they? Yes. Will they? No. Reason being, Les will still be stuck on JJ. Will have some BS about Mett. not knowing the offense well enough yet. May play Mett. some, but JJ will see majority of snaps and all those wasted positions will kill us in the end.
