He has this team playing hard defense, I know they can make a bucket but Tennesse is only up 12. They ran State late. It will get better. In 3 years they will be in the top 20 consistantly

I'm making no comment on Trent. The man needs and deserves time. But I will say I have followed LSU hoops for 30 years and this is the worst Tiger team I have seen. Man it's like scraping your nails on a chalkboard.

He already had turned around the culture of this team .... last year was a special year and without that ridic seeding, we may have ended up in the elite 8.

This season is not Trent's fault by any means. The guy who is most reponsible for the players this year got fired.

College BB is the most challenging sport to recruit for IMHO.

Yeah, what was I thinking? This team is amazing. Come on man. I know all the facts. This is still an LSU team. They're still in the SEC. And it's still the worst Tiger team Ive seen. I'm not oblvious to their plight this year. But they are horrible. Just the way it is.

I don't think they quite understand the talent differential between the football and basketball teams. In my opinion, it is inexcusable to get on Coach Johnson and the LSU basketball team. Phil freaking Jackson would have difficulty winning with this team. We are so depleted in talent it is unreal. The fact that we had a shot to send the game in OT against Tennessee is mind-boggling in my opinion.

Trent Johnson will get the ship turned around next year. This year is lost. There is no need to cry over it. I am more concerned about long term recruiting. I think this next year's team will have a winning sec record and contend for a spot in the NCAA tourney. I am not going to give up on Coach Johnson. He did wonders last year. Roy Williams is struggling this year too and he could not win with this LSU talent either. Look long term. You cannot microwave success it takes time and planning.
