I do work with some that think nothing of a $15 lunch each day.
In my office these are the ones constantly bitching about not having money. It's a mystery.

It’s a 5 happiness bag, but yeah.

Lunch provided in office 2 days a week. The other days I expense it

When I’m in the office and don’t have enough time to come back home for lunch I take it in. Usually some yogurt, jerky, a protein bar.
Sounds like you’re like me and like to have high protein/low carb lunch. Something that would be a good option for you on days where you don’t have leftovers, would be the frozen chicken bites they sell at Sam’s Club…
16 grams of protein in every 3 oz serving (4-6 nuggets), only 110 calories, 0 carbs, almost no fat. You can put them in an air fryer for like 12 min or even nuke them for 2 min. They’re really good, very much like the Chik-fil-a chicken bites. I like to dip them in Kinder’s Buffalo Sauce.

Yep. A lot of carbs at lunch and it makes me tired in later sessions (my in-person days are longer than my telehealth days to accommodate after school/work folks).
And thanks for the suggestion. I also love a good chicken salad lettuce wrap. I’ll throw some nuts and grapes in there for good fats a little sweetness. I’ll also use the high fiber/lower carb Ole wraps if I want heavier than lettuce.

Been doing some weekly meal prep lately since I've hit the age where belly fat is starting to be a concern. Before that I'd brown bag leftovers or things to generally keep costs down. I currently work for a company that has a subsidized cafe, for a long while I'd just buy lunch there, but prices have gotten so high it really isn't a great deal anymore.

No. I bring a cooler with meals I prepped
