Guys, this will be a shootout.

Save the "Have you seen our offense?" responses. Arkansas has faced 11 teams thus far and ALL 11 have had season highs in one category or another on the offensive side.

We start more Freshman and Soph's on D than any team in the nation, and they aren't any better today than they were on week 1. We've also given up more plays over 50, 60, and 70 yards than any team in the country.

The Arkansas offense is a Ferrari. The Arkansas defense is a broke down golf cart.

This will be a 40 something to 30 something final, with the winner being a complete coin toss.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Did Florida set a season high in points scored?

I think not.

At that point in the season, they set several season highs against an SEC opponent.

Matt Harris may not be the worst safety in the country - I haven't watched enough teams play to say that - but I wonder at times if it'd be more effective to substitute in a lineman for him to just lay down on the 10 yard line or so and hope a ball carrier dashing toward the endzone might accidentally trip over him. I don't see how it would be any less effective.

Just have Jefferson throw at least 30 yards downfield all game.

Maybe LaFell, Toliver and Randle will step up big. Of course, I'd expect some blitzing from Arky, like Ole Miss did. The Rebs' blitzing was pretty brutal, especially the 9-man blitzes they ran near the end of the game. I'd never seen so many defensive players coming at a QB in my life.

All I say is if the fricking OL holds up, with a healthier JJ, We light this shite up running and passing.

Check it out, we have nothing but speed in the backfield. Let's just hope they dont have a game against us like they did Florida

I sat thru 4 + hours of that in Tiger Stadium 2 years ago and expect the same result this year, albeit, with no chance for the BCSC.

The defense has certainly been one of the worst in the SEC, but with the lack of SEC talent on that side of the ball, what would you expect?

There was virtually no evaluation of talent taking place in the last couple of years of the nutt regime and we all know that Reggie Herring didn't know the first thing about recruiting.

I'm definitely not trying to play up our defense as a talented defense, don't get me wrong, but they have played well at times this year. If anything, they've been sporadic. They played well against Florida. They played well against both Auburn and Miss St(with the exception of the 3rd quarters in both games).

They're going to have to play a great game against LSU because despite the unhappiness in Tigerland right now, LSU is more talented top to bottom than Arkansas and should win this game. We've struggled against the top defenses in the conference(Bama, Ole Miss, Florida) and have lost those games.

The offense, especially Ryan Mallett, need to come out and get a great start to put the pressure on the LSU defense. That will help alleviate the stress on our own defense and let them play a little more loose, which has benefited them this year.

If their D is as bad as he says it is (don't know, don't watch Arky FB) then our OL should at least hold up.

What exactly makes you think Arkansas can score 30 or 40 on LSU?

Our D hasn't given up that many points all year.

No response woopig? I mean, it is a pretty bold assertion to say Arkansas will put up 30 on a team that hasn't given up 30 pts. all year long.

Well, I'm not him but the assumption would be Arkansas has a better offense than any team LSU has faced this year.
