If he didn't repeat a phrase or idea 4 or 5 times, his show would only last 30 minutes
For his radio time slot, people are getting in their car and riding home. Matt has to clue people in as to what the news of the day/topic/current discussion so the new listener will be able to follow along. The 5pm hour is usually a retelling of the previous 2 hours, for all those new listeners. Plus, a shite load of commercials because that's peak listing time. Radio is a business and Matt is the entertainment between the commercials.

Well plenty people don't since he's the highest rated program 104.5 has
His slot is the best thing that show has going for it. 104.5 is on when I get in the truck in the afternoon and it usually only lasts about 10 minutes. Dude is a doo-ish.

I travel in the same city in the morning and hear a show that's exponentially better than Matt.
Matt's show is top 30 in nation as reported by G. Rush. He's not changing for the Rant's opinions.

The Shaq interview a couple weeks ago has completely gone to his head
No, he acts over-the-top on topics to add some humor to the show.

I really wish Culotta and the Prince had his slot.

and he think to highly of himself.

I enjoy the show for the most part, but the lack of a clear signal and the amount of commercials usually makes me listen to something else.

Only when he uses his Seinfeld voice
This.
Overall, I enjoy listening to Matt. His show prep is pretty impressive. When he gets really full of himself, he's a pain to listen to, so I turn him off. Seinfeld voice is annoying as hell. But one of the things I hate the most is when he's in full blown douche bag mode, rude to callers, and can't/won't slow down enough to understand the point they're trying to make.

Carley is awful on that show. all she does whole time is get in fight with huddle app users
Dude you are spot on with this. For those who don't know, The Huddle is a part of their radio app which gives you the ability to have running convos during all of their shows. With the other show, you've got the freedom to speak honestly about the show, guests and whatever the topic is. But when she is producing, it's like she's playing hall monitor, any negative comment she sees from a poster she wants to either ban or humiliate them.

I'll never understand why Moscona has to bring on Mike D every week even when it's not football season. That segment is brutal during the season so we don't need it in the offseason. Same with C&P and Corey Webster. He's a terrible interview already and brings absolutely NO insight. So why keep bringing him back?
THIS!!! Corey Webster segment is

I like Mike D but it is kinda painful to listen to after the regular season...

Webster is not good for radio. They ask him the same questions every week and every sentence he ends with "Na what I mean." Malware gets redundant as well. Idk I love the station, it's much better that 1420am and 103.7 here in Laffy, I just think they can make a couple of tweaks

Webster never takes a stand on one side of the fence. He just rides the fence to be safe.
I do like how CP have brought back Canizaro for baseball season though. If Matt would do something like that, it'd help his show. I do think Theriot brings solid insight when he has a chance. I think Matt just tries too hard and doesn't use him properly.
The Mawae segment on CP gets old but at least he brings substance about the business side of the NFL and he's clearly very knowledgeable which is nice.
Matt could drop his blog writers too. The guy from Shots.com needs to go. Matt has too many B List guests I think. With a show with ratings like his, he should be able to bring in better weekly segments. Honestly, I don't get why these shows need weekly segments.
I wish the channel would allow more callers. I know some of the callers would get long winded or ridiculous but it would be a nice break up from the host just talking all show long.
BR is definitely better with 104.9 but each show has a few tweaks they could make that would make them so much better.
Overall, I love the channel.

Feinswog? You don't like the water polo and volleyball updates sprinkled in with his stories about his dogs?
Posted on 2/6/16 at 11:02 am to Tiger Ugly
That segment takes the cake for Matt's worst guest.
Feinswog talks about that shite so arrogantly too like he knows the listeners don't like but he's going to do it anyway. I've thought he was a prick since his piss poor "Sports Monday" show. Why Matt has that guy on blows my mind.
