Yes. Given it's a 2:30 game, plenty of people won't be bothered to leave the tailgate. If you're willing to roll the dice right up until kickoff, probably get a pair in the lower bowl for $40 or so.

If you're worried about not getting in, or you want to experience the entire pregame experience, should be able to pick some up in the morning for face value or so by walking around the RV lots or other big tailgating spots.

No. Stay away. That way they'll be cheaper for me.

Yes, there will be plenty from people just outside the main gates. The later it gets the cheaper they are.

Go to LSU Ticket Marketplacw and have a good chance to have your tix in hand for face value. Your son won't care if you saved $10 by stressing to find them game day. He'll be happy to have them in hand.

ETA : changed to Ticket Marketplace

Hmm, if it were me I'd throw him on my shoulders and walk around TD village about 3 hours before kickoff. Have him hold 2 fingers up. You'll pay a bit more than waiting until last minute, but you'll probably still get a good deal and that way you can still make all the pre-game stuff that's fun for the kids. Tiger walk, band coming down the hill, going in early, etc.

Are you talking about the Ticket Markeplace on LSUSports.net? The only games on there are Furman and Arkansas.
If you mean the Ticket Exchange on this site, no guarantee anybody is selling for face, doubtful they are.

you'll be fine. I found Bama tix last year 2 hours before kickoff for $100 a piece, and they were in the south endzone, not the 600s.

Aren't the tickets on the marketplace (lsusports.net) season ticket holder's tix that decide to sell them? If so, just because they aren't available now doesn't mean they won't be.

I am also taking my son at least to tailgate with some friends, but hoping to find a couple reasonably priced tix.

It's pretty unlikely that anybody with tickets to sell are going to just put them out for face when they are going for roughly 3 times that amount on the various ticket sites, including this one. I'm sure it could happen, but I wouldn't count on it.

Not counting on it at all, just wondering if that's how it works.

The guys I tailgate with have 3 big screens and we go sometimes just to tailgate without tix. But since my wife and other little dude can't make it, I thought I might try to pick up tix if I can get them reasonably...ie: a little above face, like face plus TAF fees.

So is everybody pretty confident that lower level tickets can be found for around 100 on gameday? I'm trying to convince my 7 month pregnant wife that we will find tickets so we can make the 6 hour drive down from Memphis for the game.

I already had that idea, was going to just come down with my cousin... It didn't go over so well. Especially since this will be the only game she will get to go to, and our son is due the same day as the NC and I told her if LSU makes it she will have to hold the little dude in.
