I feel bad for him. I had high hopes for him. I have firmly concluded, after being predominantly convinced for quite some time, that he is NOT good enough to be the LSU QB. I do feel bad for him, but I also feel bad for the rest of the players who are underachieving while we continue to give him further opportunities are just are not warranted. Life is touch. Move on with Etling.

Don't feel bad for Harris at all. He doesn't deserve to be LSU's starting QB. And no one to blame but himself!!!

No. He said he had the best team and best arm in college football. He is a junior. He gets a full scholarship to do a job he is not doing.

Having said that, I do hope that if/when the job calls, that he has success. Not just for LSU but he seems like a decent human.

Tl/dr, but yeah I feel bad for Harris. Just like any other Tiger, he doesn't deserve any personal attacks. He doesn't even deserve a lot of blame, whether or not the backup comes in and does well, or not.

He chose to come play for the Fightin Tigers, and he deserves a level of respect above disgusting shots at him, just because of that fact.

TP/Nola is a terrible newspaper. They're not even located in Louisiana.

They're a clickbait rag who couldn't afford to retain any of their best writers when The Advocate entered the New Orleans market.

Take anything they say with a grain of salt.

This is the same newspaper, mind you, that has a policy prohibiting writers from including the race of a criminal suspect in the suspect description. They'll put in height, weight, age, clothing... but not race.

That alone is a pretty good indicator of what type of newspaper they are.

yep...he was booed in his own stadium and humiliated as his dreams basically came to an end in front of a stadium full of people and a tv audience of millions.

Harris is well spoken and seems to be a fine young man. It is always difficult for me to see that kind of thing happen to such a good kid.

Man, it is just so hard to believe that college-level coaches can actually make players worse. Idk why they handcuff them to the point of being so ineffective that nothing can get done. We'll see what happens throughout the rest of the season with Etling. No doubt CLM will run both like he did with AJ/BH. It's a shame that all of this has come at the expense of the players and fans.

Is Cam training them to turn right, and then CLM tells them to turn left during the game? I mean, wtf is going on? Hell, half of the starters look like they haven't ever practiced before. Are you supposed to be getting better during the season, or during the off-season? What are we doing 9 months out of the year?

Nope, not at all. He's had more than a fair chance. Just not good enough, period.

I do feel bad for him. He works hard and is a good person but he is no doubt rattled right now and has trouble fixing his accuracy.

Funny ppl think he would do well in a spread which is geared more towards short quick passes. He can't handle pressure situations for the most part. This has always been an issue.. Going all the way back to his HS state title game v's a real D he just chokes sometimes. He did look good v's msu and UF at times. I think if he just calms down and doesn't panic he may can get his mojo back. I kindof lost all faith last year when he missed a wide open target to open 3rd quarter at bama when we were only down 3. It was a freakn 4 yard out. That cost us the game pretty much. Maybe sitting for a bit will help him.
