Do we want Vandy to win or lose tonight (In terms of winning the championship)?

Obviously, if you just want to avoid going 2&Q again, of course we would rather see Fullerton on Tuesday.

But if we're still looking to win it all...

Do we want Vandy to lose tonight, throwing them in the loser's bracket with us? Then we have Lange going against them and a chance to knock them out?

A lot of people think they might be the best team on our side. Is it better to only have to beat them once with Lange on the mount, instead of potentially having to beat them twice later?

Just playing a little devil's advocate here. I am forming no opinion as of yet.

I honestly don't care. Just stay in Omaha as long as possible

I'm rooting for CSF tonight, easier to beat Vandy once with Lange. Yeah, I still think we can win it all. But i'm a homer.

Doesn't matter.

But for sake of argument go for vandy as hopefully we'll miss their top guys

Our only hope to win a game is to play Cal state fullerton. Lange could hold Vandy for awhile but they will KILL our relievers.

You probably want them to lose and we knock them out. Problem is even with Lange going against them were probably not equipped to come out of the losers bracket. Our only shot is Fullerton beats Vandy and TCU.

I rather face them now with Lange

Doesn't vandy hit and steal better than csf?

I would rather face them the fewest times so I hope they lose

That's the way I'm leaning.

vandy loses tonight then we knock them out the whole thing with Lange and just have to win 2 vs csf or tcu with is easier in my mind than eventually having to beat vandy twice in a row without your top starters

I think ideally Vandy loses tonight, then Fullerton beats TCU

Our top two arms in the bullpen did not pitch today and Lange could go very deep

Umm, we can't score runs. Doesn't matter who we play.

Agreed.

If Vandy wins tonight, I'd take the odds on penciling them into the NC series.

LSU swept the R and SR. It's not like LSU forgot how to win.

Yup. Might as well pencil in Florida vs Vandy for the championship then

Which means absolutely nothing, except that they cobbled together enough runs vs inferior teams to those they're playing now.
