My son twisted his ankle at practice yesterday. Day to day.

As a matter of fact the old wing is a little achey. I could probably throw an inning if the skipper needed me though

Position players
Dugas (thumb surgery) - expected to be back late Aprul
Cabrera (sore hand) - hope to be back next weekend

Pitchers
Hill (arm soreness) - MRI negative, no timetable for return
Marceaux (arm soreness) - no timetable for return
Costello (arm soreness) - no timetable for return
Threadgill (arm soreness) - threw at practice last week, no timetable for return
Gilbert (recovering from shoulder surgery) - feels no pain, but still has low velo and messed up mechanics
Storz (shoulder surgery) - may be back in April but probably out for season

I know Marceaux, Hill, and Costello are still out and Cabrera is banged up. Hopefully Cabrera will be good to go next weekend and the 3 pitchers can come back soon. We could have some great depth in the postseason with our current pitchers plus the injured guys. Plus Storz has been mentioned to possibly be available late April but I wouldn’t hold my breath for him. It should be an exciting next few months for LSU baseball.

Remember those three innings Storz threw in his entire career at LSU? Those were fun.
