Game wont be close enough for a couple of questionable calls to matter

This should be the case, however...

Bama had to cheat to beat Arky, WVU, LSU, and MSU. They cheated in the Ole Miss game too, but OM somehow won.

Basically, what I am saying is that one percieves Bama "should" be good enough to win the majority of their games without extra help, especially when you consider who their coach is and their roster full of 5 star players. However, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Either way, enjoy the game! Based on talent, coaching, and scheme, Bama should win easily all on their own.

I believe so.
Bama has been the least penalized team in the league five of the previous six years.
That is far outside the standard deviation.
I have written extensively about this.

Slive will be replaced by one of the current executive commissioners.

This guy will maintain the status quo to keep an Alabama graduate, Steve Shaw, as the head of SEC Officials.

The head of SEC officials should not be a Bama grad. Period.

For being so great, the SEC has the shittiest officials. I dont know about cheating, but they always have their collective head up their arse.

Investigate the revenue from advertisement(based off of perceived viewership) of Alabama getting into a championship game versus anybody else in the SEC and you'll know the answer. Also easily determined from who ESPN builds up early in the year and promotes through the year. It is an investment. Major $$...

Without a doubt! There are too many examples for it to just be coincidence. The SEC HQ knows competition is tough between the top teams in the conference. They do just enough between scheduling and officiating to put them over the top.

Does Alabama look like a national championship team this season? No...but they received just enough assistance against Arkansas and LSU to put them over the top.

I can't believe people continue to support the SEC HQ. You have to be a fool to not see how they take care of their beloved Gumps and their home state while screwing over everybody else.

I hope Missouri wins but I won't be watching. Go LSU! Screw the SEC!

Honestly, most of the time I think the close calls are just that. Close. Now and then, the calls are obviously absurd and the reason seems to haunt a lot of us.

PP both feet inbounds pops right not my mind.

Yeah thats the one that most people are hung up on.

It was however the correct call. Did PP catch the ball inbounds with control, absolutely. Did it matter, no.

Google the video, not just the famous still image. Jones touched the ball first, reaching across PP. Jones was out of bounds. Its a dead ball at that point.

Thats the rule. It'd be the same as throwing a pass out of bounds to avoid pressure, and the ball doinks off a player on the bench, comes back in bounds and is caught.

Sometimes its easy to take the cheap way out and blame losses on "crooked refs", but I really dont think thats ever the case. Do they make mistakes, sure. Do the mistakes always favor one team over another? It would be childish and petty to believe that.

Stranger things have happened with so much money at stake. a top tier program makes about 40-50 million more than a mid level program.

That being said, I do not think bribes are paid. There would be way too much damage if anyone was caught. It would be in the conferences best interest to put a stop to it though because it does look so bad.

Bama fans call it "Home cookin'" when the refs slant a game their way.

Do they cheat? Hmmmmm....

Well let me say this, check out where LSU ranked in penalties when Nick was at LSU versus how Bama has ranked since he got there. Something about those rolling hills of Tuscaloosa just makes a man want to play right I guess.

Just saying.

History has proven over and over that the close calls go to Alabama and Auburn. These refs know where their checks are cut....Birmingham.

I do not believe there is an orchestrated plan to throw games. I think the refs are afraid of Saban's power in the SEC office where Steve Shaw, Alabama graduate, hire and grades officials.

I guess former NBA ref Tim Donaghy getting busted for cheating was the ONLY time in the history of professional and college sports where a ref was not honest.

People cheat...period! People cheat on their taxes, they cheat on their spouse, they cheat on tests, they cheat when people aren't looking, and yes...they cheat in sports.

Are we to believe every penalty in a game is due to a player accidentally committing a foul? Do players ever intentionally commit a penalty? If so, why? Could it be they hoped they would get away with cheating? Have coaches done the same? Of course.

So what we're saying is people cheat...players cheat...coaches cheat...yet the SEC HQ and their officials are ALWAYS good little honest Christians.

I'm calling BS!

I've been exposed to the SEC officials' Alabama bias for decades. It is real, but subtle. I don't believe that there is any dark conspiracy, but the bias is certainly there and has been for a very long time. If a call is in doubt; if it's close; if it's critical; Alabama will get the call.

This is the most glaring one to me. A few years Bama went like 10 games without a hold. That's literally impossible. Not figuratively. It's literally impossible. Unless you have SEC refs

Bama won't be left out of the playoffs. Even by some miracle and Mizzou beats them , do you think they (the political action committee)will drop them below 4th. I will answer my own question, NO, Bama will drop no lower than 4th. Hope I would be wrong but I don't think so.

Which is evidence of...

being the least penalized team in five of the previous six years, nothing else.

And. also, a bald-faced lie.
2014 - Alabama is tied with UGA for 3rd
2013 - Alabama - 3rd
2012 - 1st
2011 - 1st
2010 - tied for 2nd
2009 - 2nd

Well, I guess if I was bad at math I'd think that 2 out of 6 was the same 5 out of 6.

Oh, and Alabama's opponents were penalized only 51 times this season to our 63. So, you know... I guess the rest of the SEC must be cheating even MORE. Like how LSU only got two penalties the entire game against Alabama - well below their average of 5.3 ppg.

totally agree.
Even if all is 100% legit, the APPEARANCE is not.
Judges recuse themselves just for that.
