You mean the seem guy who hired Matt House? Yeah idk I’ll pass of trusting BK hires just because BK hired them. I’m not even against the Williams hire, just bad reasoning to say “trust the guy who hired him”. We just gotta wait and see and then trust the results

We have lost so many North Louisiana recruits to Bama, Texas, aTm, Ole Miss, etc. He ought to put a stop to that.

I dont underestimate his drive or his want to be great and do great at LSU.
I do question his ability of walking into Meemaw's Section 8 apartment and relating with her 5* grandson recruit.

Championship at LSU, 13 years in the NFL, 6 Pro Bowls, track record at Ruston and what seems to be a really sharp mind. I'm not worried about his ability to appeal to and communicate with high schoolers. Plus, sadly, these kids are all about the money and that's on the program to be able to compete.
I like the selection and look forward to seeing results on the field. This guy's a proven winner and will likely be as hard on himself as his players.

Kyle is the man!
Eager to see how he'll do coaching on the college level.

Magic Johnson and Wayne Gretsky also coached and we know how that turned out . Doesn’t really matter how good of a player you were or who coached you. Every single athlete that played multiple seasons in any sport were coached by good coaches at some point in their careers

Should be the start of a long career as a coach for the Tigers.

Ask Louisiana Tech LB Jadon Mayfield or LB Zheric Hill what they think of Kyle Williams. Ask future LSU DB Aidan Anding his thoughts on Kyle Williams. Everyone one of those kids would tell you he made them better men and that they have so much love and respect for him. Not because he was nice, but because he made them better people as well as better players. He has a lot of those type of qualities. The kind of things you saw from Nick Saban. I’m not saying he’s the next Saban, I’m saying that kids love him and love to play for him. Kids on the recruiting trail will recognize that in him.

I think giving an opportunity to a person who has been extremely successful at a position that is currently lacking in the program seems little less risky to me. Especially in the current climate of college football. All the coaches interviewed were already on contract somewhere and some with buyouts. I know the sentiment is to spend no matter what for the “experienced” coach. I think LSU does itself well to go ahead and put on for a coach that’s come up in its culture and went on and been successful at the highest level. And now wants to come back and give back of his success at the place that helped make him. I think that would speak volumes to every recruit in the Louisiana borders.
