oh it happened

i don't want that ref near an LSU game this season. he should be suspended.

Don't you see the idiocy in bitching about something that didn't happen?

do you think PP intercepted the ball against bama in 2009?

do you think early doucet was a victim of PI against Auburn in 2006?

I agree to a point. Bringing JJ in during Kentucky was harmless though

do you think this team, looking forward, would have benefited more from playing JJ or Mett in that series?

And yet, Les, just like he did several times last season, felt the need to pull him on 3rd and long and run JL out there. It isn't fair to either player to manage the game in that fashion.

This is basically what I have against the way this 2 QB system is being run. If you really want to use both QB's give them a full series. When you pull one QB for the other you are tipping your hand about the next play.

ok sure

but 12 men broke the huddle when he came in to run a play

you do know the rules of football right?

I guess the ref just forgot all of a sudden

This creates a psychological problem imo. When J Lee knew he was "the man" he performed as such. The coach's confidence in him increased his confidence in himself. When they put JJ in there that confidence was broken. We all know J Lee's psyche was damaged early in his career. Why mess with him? Team chemistry is not the same imo.

i'd rather ford, ware, maghee, or blue come in and run it again, or a bootleg like LSU ran against WVU.
You are smart. Les is dumb, Gotcha.

yes, the TD was scored... but it was completely unnecessary to do at that point.
Unneccessary touchdown?

Face it you would rather see anything and I do mean anything happen rather than JJ take the field.
Sorry. Les will play Jefferson. Get over it.
Be a man suck it up.

Going forward this season, we benefit from playing JJ.

He will play more than Mett, and will be the starter if Lee gets hurt.

I hate watching this team with 2 QBs trotting in and out. It makes us look confused and predictable. If your running QB isn't good enough to play the whole game then he should be the backup.

i see it more of a package situation

i don't mind JJ coming in on the goaline as a package, just like how UF puts burton in on the goaline a bunch

pretty good question

it all depends on what the coaches intentions are for the rest of this season

we have no clue

but i'd guess they'd rather play JJ than mett...

but all we did was run the same option plays we've run since 2009. he didn't run a full offense (just like mett didn't run a full offense at the end). it was a waste of 2 drives. we only have so many drives to build/practice. we wasted 2 yesterday

Lee is stronger than you give him credit for.

What makes you think Les will throw JJ out there every game? He put JJ in for one play in the first half and again when the team was up 28-0. There is no proof that Les will continue to rotate both QBs throughout the rest of the season.

I love how everyone thinks the sky is falling because JJ ran some option plays

Exactly. He was brought in on 4th and goal from the 1. If we would have gotten in against UK on any of the previous 3 downs, there would have been no decision to make. We scored (no I don't care about the 12th guy running off the field because Joker Phillips was probably the only guy paying attention to that). And actually, JJ looked good running the ball as he did at the end of last year. If we would have gotten stuffed at the goal line, then at least there would be a legit gripe.

If this were basketball and a scorer had a hot hand would you pull him? I dont care if they play another QB ,but IMHO it should be done in Mop up duty. But Les is the Coach and its his arse that is on the line so its his call.

A bootleg against WVU is not the same as a bootleg against Florida's speed or Alabama. This is the SEC.

pi is a purely subjective judgment call

RR could have gotten OPI on his lone reception

how do you feel about a ref missing a completely objective call?

And before then, Nebraska and Oklahoma ran those options and defenses continued to struggle with them because you have to make a choice unlike on a dive play. Each defense we face presents a different set of challenges. Some way more difficult than others.
