JJ had no issues in the second half running the offense

all we did was run some option

we need to get mett real snaps against horrible teams. yesterday should have been that

we wasted 1 drive with JJ and 1 drive at the end (for no apparent reason)

Agree 100%. Why run Lee back out there after JJ had his time in the 2nd? Mett should have closed out the game.

well we should have been up about 40 against UK in the 3rd, and mett should have gotten a clear quarter

but even then, why bring JJ in just to run the same option plays everyone has seem 200 times before?

why not let Mett lead a real drive on that last possession

because miles feels like he's going to play JJ the rest of the season and not mett?

i think it had more to do with some stupid belief in "not running up the score" which is stupid, imho

So basically you have your panties in a wad over something that didn't happen, might never happen and over which you have no control?
And you say that Les is dumb?

I don't care which 1 it is, but we need 1 playing and the other ready if the starter is injured ala Jeff Brantley.

How is the other one truly going to be ready without at least some live snaps. They are not even allowed to get hit in practice. Did you see Jeff Driskell last night? I bet Muschamp wish he had inserted him more now.

Alabama is on our schedule. If they were not, I would agree that 1 QB is all we need. We need a physical QB when playing them. They have a decent d-line and really good LBs who will come after a pocket QB who is being protected by an o-line who is tied for 10th in sacks allowed.

I hope they fix this, but I feel for JL whom I believe should continue to start if this does not get addressed. Hopefully, we have some nice screens in the playbook, but I've rarely seen them work against Bama.

Perhaps to force the opposition to have to include that in their defensive game planning?

Ya think?

Nah

Ya don't

we committed a penalty with 12 men

the ref didn't call it, and he should have. that ref needs to be suspended for being such a fricking idiot

jefferson could be in a coma for 3 years, come back, and everybody would know those plays are likely to be run

I don't. What penalty are you talking about?

And on the personal side. I'm glad to see you here. I was worried about you and another noted JJ hater yesterday. Thought for sure that the both of you were on suicide watch.

i don't hate JJ

i think he's a shitty QB and isn't the best option for this LSU team, but i have nothing against JJ

i live in a world of logic, reason, and statistically-based arguments, though

penalty was committed, ref didn't call it.

but everyone saw it, and then JJ burns a time out.

i'd rather ford, ware, maghee, or blue come in and run it again, or a bootleg like LSU ran against WVU.

I think bringing in JJ at the time, when lee led the team down the field, was illogical, and shameful on miles part.

yes, the TD was scored... but it was completely unnecessary to do at that point.

If the officials don't call it, it never happened. Next are you going to whine about the times we held and didn't get called?
Don't you see the idiocy in bitching about something that didn't happen?

i'm not even that mad about the playcall on the goaline. putting JJ in for a pointless drive in the 3rd was stupid

I agree to a point. Bringing JJ in during Kentucky was harmless though, which is why he did it then and not wait until a big game like Florida like some wanted

What's wrong with playing 2 QB's?

Lee is clearly a rhythm passer. Just one look at the end of the Troy game confirms that. He was money

WRs dropping easy catches, and switching out for 3rd and long, does not really work for him
