In short, he helps in recruiting and/or player retention. In bigger programs, they are more of a "recruiting coordinator" than the coach that is labeled that. They keep tabs on: what coaches are covering what schools, what kiddos come across his desk (recruiting tapes, transcripts, etc), relationships with HS coaches and recruiting gurus, etc. They also might disseminate what kids are targets (weed through game tapes and measurables, check with position coaches on what they are looking for, etc) For those that also have player retention duties, they sort of keep an eye on the current roster and help make sure kids are happy and making the right decisions.....

No more of a loss than Lunda Wells before him.
When we're worried about this kinda sh!t it shows us that our fanbase either lacks focus completely or that the fanbase at large doesn't know WTF its seeing when it reads a Tweet like this.
This is an administrative position.
Oh and before anyone says anything else, I don't trust JV25 in this role, either. Vincent hasn't shown capability in any capacity to handle the administrative requirements of these positions.
I hope he gets his Master's & starts somewhere, but he isn't ready for this job.
