Flying non-stop is overrated, I’d pay less if it means I stop in Dallas, Denver, etc

I also don't mind connecting, especially if the price is cheaper. Some folks would rather fly direct and pay for the convenience.

Hell, I'm flying from Austin to Nashville with stops in DFW and Charlotte in a few months.

I'm all for saving money. Wife and I have discussed driving to Houston or Memphis for a cheaper flight.

Look into that direct flight out of Gulfport on Breeze. Lafayette may be an option that's closer to home as well. Connections drive the price down.

I'm assuming that's a typo and you're saying you see no flights.

The flight adds are only 1x each way.

They're pretty niche and the timing isn't great, but hopefully somebody here finds it valuable.

I wish I was going to the game but H2O Jr's arrival in a few weeks has me grounded.

Leaving Friday and coming home Monday is insanely expensive. You could go earlier and leave later for about the same price including the extra days at the hotel. If your schedule allows it that's the way to go. I'm going from Wednesday before to the Friday after. I extended the trip to watch Thursday night football in Vegas.

I paid 1400 total for 4 from Shreveport a few months ago Sat-Wed. There are still some cheap flights on those days from SHV and LFT

Thank you Delta for the options to book a flight for $928
Think I'll save the $$$$$$ for the flight to Dublin on Aer Lingus (With Irish Mrs. Semjase) which will be much cheaper than 928........

Check direct flights from Gulfport, MS, too.

From Gulfport, they will take you directly to Atlanta for your connection to Vegas. There will not be any direct flights from Gulfport by Delta.

It is amazing they are doing them from BR and NOLA.

I didn’t see any direct flights on Thursday from BR to Vegas. I also didn’t think about driving further to another airport to get a cheaper rate. It is what it is at this point. Just money.

Breeze is flying direct from Gulfport to Vegas, could be a good budget option for those folks on the northshore.

Delta does this every year around major sports events. I wouldn't be surprised to see United/American add flights for the game as well. They have in years past

Correct. You can get a flight on Friday and back on Monday for less than $900.

Likely a better option if your schedule allows. The Delta direct is up over $1700 in Economy now.
