Bruce Ramsey. #1 qb in the state that year. Now the UGA punter. A very overrated and misjudged qb class in Ga that year.

Thank you for holding things together this year Danny. But I share your optimism in this matter.

Between Jennings and our coaching on that side of the ball, Jennings wasn't the problem.

You’re right. Etling was better than Brennan. Brennan threw a pick every 6.7 pass attempts.

I would hope a returning senior starter would be better then a true freshman

I don’t trust any of this stuff any longer until I see with my own eyes a quarterback play in real competition and in more than 1-2 games.

I have been burned too many times with this elite passing academy stuff or the Manning stuff. Also, while quarterback coaching is always important, so is the mental aspect each quarterback displays. All this strong arm BS means little if the guy can’t read D’s or can’t handle pressure.

I wish we had seen more play from our reserve QB. There were opportunities in our last few games for MB to get playing time that wasn’t taken vantage of and I don’t understand why. It would seem that if we had a really talented QB this season waiting in the wings, that QB would’ve seen more playing time for a number of different reasons.

I guess there’s always hope and always wait till next year.

no sample size to tell one way or the other about brennan from his "playing time" this year.

i remember treon harris lit it up in spot duty as a true frosh backup at uf a few years ago. didn't even look like a serviceable qb after he started getting meaningful playing time. that's just one example.

we'll see. i think it's gonna take narcisse another year or two to learn how to play qb unless we start running the triple option. has the talent, but hasn't played football going on 3 years.

1 thing I was impressed with Brennan was his quick release without losing velocity. No big whind up. You see the elite QBS in the NFL do that. Only has to cock the arm back just beyond the shoulder and still gets great zip. He seems to read the Def pretty well. Good touch when needed. Can't wait to see how it all translates if he is the starter next yr.
