Boot bama from the SEC

The more I think about it, the more it seems like a great idea.

There have been posts in the past about LSU leaving the conference. It shouldn't be the Tigers that leave. I think everyone (all sec programs) is so tired of the gump bias that the solution is to give them the boot.

It is not about being scared to play them either. Hell, we can schedule them as a permanent non- conf game We could lose to them every year and it would still be better than having to deal with the advantages they get from the conference. Let them go independent or join another conf. Let them be someone elses problem. We can take Texas or Oklahoma to replace them. I know there would be some financial fallout but I say let the chips fall as they may.
I think a 3-3-5 would work better and keep shifting alignments. Would really confuse Tua. Flashback to the 97 florida game. Would take some monster balls from the coaching staff to go for this.
I think there are a lot of valid points made but I think we all overlook one aspect of what the o-line have been asked to do for the last 8 years. They have been asked to run block and be physical. Ground and pound. It takes a lot less skill to do that. Pass blocking takes a lot work and skill. This is not something these guys have had to do much. It takes more than 1 year to get guys up to speed on pass blocking if they never did it much in highschool or when they get to college. This is why A&M will have an easier transition because they were already doing a ton of pass blocking under Sumlin. I think it will take time to build back up that culture of being able to run block and pass block at a high level. To answer the question of why do we hear every year that the passing is going to get fixed and we are going to sling it around, the answer is we cannot. We don't have guys on the line that are sufficient to do so 30 plus times a game. I think they work on it during spring and fall camp a lot but the guys we have playing now don't have enough experience doing it. Couple that with the points made on this post about recruiting and attrition and you can see why it is this way. It has been a ground hogs day with passing and pass blocking for so long I hate to sound cliche but I think the passing will be better next year and even better in 2 years. I think Burrows numbers this year are going to look similar to Etlings 2 years ago. However, I still don't think we will see an offense under CEO and SE that is throwing 30 plus times a game. Next year will be more like 20-25 PA, 2500 yards,15-18 passing TDs per year will prob be the ceiling under this offense. This year, not so much.
1 thing I was impressed with Brennan was his quick release without losing velocity. No big whind up. You see the elite QBS in the NFL do that. Only has to cock the arm back just beyond the shoulder and still gets great zip. He seems to read the Def pretty well. Good touch when needed. Can't wait to see how it all translates if he is the starter next yr.
Guice > Barkley.

Barkley seems soft to me. Goes down easier than Guice. Skills are pretty similar between the two. However, Guice is more savage.
1st time watching Barkley today. Guice>Barkley. Not saying Barkley is over rated. Just Guice is better. I didn't see the savage in him. Seems like he did not want to fight for extra yards run out of bounds instead of fighting for yards.

coach o - coach killer?

There is a possible scenario where after the Bama game, our opponents head coach for the next 3 games could be fired in consecutive weeks should LSU beat them. Has that ever happened in cfl history?

I realize some of them may go before then. Would be crazy if it happens that way.

Might have to start calling him boss if that happens.
You mean Dion White or Devon White. I think Danielson called him 3 different names.
