He was and probably still is a nice guy (15+ years ago). But being nice doesn't pay for sleeping pods in the locker room. Marquee games get us on TV, which get recruits to visit, etc. I'd take losing to Utah over another bullshite game against Grambling, Southern, NLU, Southeastern. Marquee games get donations.

Scheduling these teams is bullshite. We have our own gauntlet to run in the SEC. Adding Texas and Oklahoma.
