Did we get our LED lights from Temu?

For all the hype, that was a very underwhelming experience as far as the new light show goes. On a positive note, Woodward definitely received my sternly worded email about the garbage DJ in the stadium!

Yea, it left a lot to be desired for sure.

If they were going to do the whole LED light thing half-arse, they shouldn't have done it at all.

Sadly, it's about what I expected from LSU. We always seem to half-arse everything. The images they sent out before the game were obviously heavily photoshopped, and looked nothing like what we got in the stadium.

Our colors are purple and gold. Those aren’t good colors for LED lights.

They kept flashing white lights with the color lights. How come?

Some POS contractor tied in to TAF came out great on that , with a few kickbacks no doubt . Another case in point the new Alex box stadium.

That was a big part of the problem. The white lights washed out the purple and gold. Also, they left the ribbon lights on with the ads, some of which were red, at the time they did the light show.

It's faint without a frick ton of the purple/golds. Less white and more color would be better.

Yep. That's how you do it. Surely, LSU looked at examples of other schools' light shows, like UGA, Bama, and Tennessee.

Today, LSU emailed a game survey to season ticket holders about game experience. I commented about shitty light show and need to be synchronized with the music and ribbon boards. Less white lights and more purple

If you had nothing to compare it to, you would say the lights at Tiger Stadium looked pretty cool.

But LSU looks ridiculous because everybody else did this much better.

That's my point. It's not like LSU was the first school to do it. The people working on the project knew how UGA, Bama, Tennessee, etc. did theirs, and still found a way to make ours look so much worse.

Edit: Here's Texas' light show with drones. LINK

Not sure I like the drones and the smoke though.

Unlike the red and green Christmas lights, it is hard to get the purple lights to look purple.

Well don’t do it then, it just makes us look half arse when we brag about these things and then the production is piss poor.

It would be one thing if no school had done this and we were being a pioneer. We wouldn’t know things like if you keep the ribbon boards on they will mess up the show.

Multiple teams have done this for multiple seasons and their show looked better than ours.

It’s just sadly more Louisiana. We built a new baseball stadium and it wasn’t even the best the year it was built. We venture into lights and we can’t have them look as nice as others.

Purple and Gold, while awesome, is going to make for some shitty lights
