No...but you did by asking a dumb question.

He made the right move. This is his team and he gets an opportunity to etch his name in Tiger lore.

All he has to do is not look incompetent as the starter this season and he will go number 1 overall. The hype is completely out of control with this one.

Statistics dont mean shite at draft time.

That's just not true at all.

Yes, it is. They don't mean shite to a pro scout's evaluation. Matt Ryan had 19 INT coming out of Boston College. Anthony Richardson's stats were doo doo. Will Levis threw 23 INT his last 2 college seasons, and all these guys were still first round picks. They are looking at measurables and ceiling.

What characteristics did Anthony Richardson have to get drafted top 10?

Being athletic?

Richardson also posseses elite arm talent. So does Nussmeier. NFL teams will take a chance on athletes like Richardson who can make plays with their feet while continuing to improve their ability to read defenses and their decision making process. Nussmeier still needs to improve his decision making to make up for his inability to make plays with his feet.

No. Why would he want to be a third or fourth round pick (at best) this year when he has the opportunity to elevate to a first or second round with one great season at LSU?

First off OP went full retard. Nuss made the smart decision.

And I agree next year’s class is weak too. If Arch stays put, Nuss would likely be QB1.

I see Nico continuing on a downward spiral, Allar is very meh, Sellers will go high as an athletic freak but his play style will worry many injury-wise.

It's all of it. Some guys they put more emphasis on stats because they don't have the physical measurables. With other guys they don't pay as much attention to stats because of their physical characteristics. But to make a blanket statement such as "statistics don't mean shite" is foolish.

Are you one of the Fans who criticized Nuss for not playing in a meaningless Bowl game three years ago.
