Looks like they have their Fr RP pitcher Evan Siary (6.2 ERA) starting tonight. My State friend is thinking they use six pitchers in this game tonight.

The starters line holds up, they'll use more than 6.

His longest outing was like 70 pitches against Kentucky I think.

Why doesnt JJ switch Skenes to Saturday to combat teams doing this to us? Does it mess with Paul's mojo when he gets pushed back 1 day?

Yeah.

I think their “ace” is Cade Smith.

So they just burn his arm tonight and concede the game?

Sure looks that way. Cade Smith has been their Friday starter the last 4-5 series. He's scheduled to start tomorrow. Then again, they are sucking and may be mixing things up trying to get something to work.

It's why we need to not let any relievers get comfortable and make them use more than they planned on. We need to score 25 runs tonight.

Strategy is 1-1 vs us in winning a series. UK tried it and was a Jobert pop up from being swept. Auburn did it and took 2/3 including boat racing us.

I think state ends up like UK except swept

These bottom ranked teams are openly challenging our bullpen. I hope one of our pitchers starts throwing strikes and show them who is the boss

It's going to keep happening until we get consistent performance out of the #2 & #3 starter spots, including in a Super.

Random Friday night guy with era over 6? Skenes pitching? Let's make sure we give him virtually no support again. I'm thinking through 6 innings skenes could have 15 strikeouts so let's make sure and kick a few ground balls, give them a base or two on passed balls and then on offense let's strikeout 10 times with no steals and maybe, maybe score 2 runs. And then let's score 14 runs on Tuesday next week to make sure those averages aren't bad.

Make sure and do your part to make it interesting offense!

I'm jaded asf and hope the offense makes me look like a salty pussy tonight.

Correct, why would opposing team put their best arm on the bump to battle Skenes in a losing effort.
