Glad to see some logical LSU fans last night. Reading the rant last night had my blood boiling. Plus there was one fricking idiot on Hanagriff's call-in show that straight up said he was not happy because lee isn't playing. Also, pretty sure Tigerlee was sitting in front of me in the 1st half bitching about everything JJ did. I just really hate this fan base sometimes.

Holy frick. Pls go kill yourself.
Its hilarious that yall keep worrying about a grown arse man's "confidence" and keep treating him like a "delicate little flower". This is football, not hopscotch. Get the damn sand out of your vagina.

My son attended the Kentucky game. Said JJ was walking beside Miles leading the team down the hill just a few days after he was cleared to play. He is Miles boy.

It's obvious CLM has a soft spot for JJ, but who cares? We are winning and JJ has done a good job, we need both to play but more of JJ

but in terms of Miles being a class act and man of honor, I would say that his handling of Lee tarnished that aspect of his reputation.
Please explain precisely how this is true. Is it that you refuse to accept the explanation that Jefferson was the starting quarterback at the beginning of the season and Miles still thinks he should be now because he brings more to the game? Even if you think Miles is wrong, how does that affect his honor?
Honest question. Please answer.

For the record, JJ is the better athlete. It's obvious Miles likes his mobility. The issue is how it's been handled last 2 weeks. Like, why announce Lee as starter if he ain't starting?

Soft Parade despises Les Miles and looks for any little BS to bash him about...

Not trying to dis LSU here because I think LSU has got a great team, but just wanted to state a outsiders opinion with this. Seems Lee is getting a raw deal in this situation. Lee has done everything asked of him, and one slip-up game this season. He's thrown out like the trash it seems. But at the same time. I'm happy Bama's coaches are getting more game-film on JJ(To prepare for) by seeing JJ running this seasons LSU offense. Running QB's seem to be one of Bama's weak points on Defense, so any help there is good.
Miles is a great person, and one of my favorite coaches. It will take more than this to hurt his good-guy image. Now it might come back to bite him later on though if Lee is need in the Arkansas game. Once a player feels he's on a very short leash. It can effect a QB's decision making when this is the case. This still won't hurt Miles good image though.
ROLL TIDE !!!!!!

As someone who has believed since JJ's several game stretch of no TD passes, I have believed that Lee as starter and JJ as change of pace is our best O.
But Les has never believed that. He has and still does believe that JJ is our best QB and gives us best chance to win.
Regardless of my opinion or your opinion of how Lee should be "treated", Les has a responsibility to play the players he believes gives us best chance to win. A responsibility to the team, to himself, to the staff everyone.
This is not about what is or is not fair to Lee. You gotta play the players at QB and every position you think are best chance to win.
That's all he can do.
As fans we can question his decision making but I don't believe any fan even the worst of the rantards would believe Les would knowingly, consciously play any player at any position and leave the best chance he thought for victory on the bench.

It should be right around 3-4 mins left in the game. I'm standing beside 2 other posters as well(won't reveal their names though)

You are absolutely correct when you say . . .
I've been saying it over and over.
You would like to think most fans, even rantards, are not so delusional so as to believe that, but I'm not so sure.

Hurt. He makes some really poor personnel and in game decisions.

So, you figured you would go after Miles from another direction...I'm shocked.

Changed my opinion. Lost all respect for Miles with the way he has handled several situations since the start of the season. It's sad to see him become so arrogant in his quest to WIN.

Not at all. Jordan Jefferson was the starter for this team from the end of spring practice until his four game suspension. Jarrett Lee, the backup QB, came in and performed admirably. And honestly, coming from a senior QB with significant playing experience, that should have been expected.
In fact, I would say Les handled the situation better than any other coach in college football. If Les stays with Lee in that Bama game, LSU loses. Jordan Jefferson was the Offensive MVP of that game, and he's only improved since then.
This was always Jordan Jefferson's team and the other guys have seemed to really rally behind him in a big way.
Last night's game plan was brilliant and I believe that's how LSU should attack opposing defenses going forward. Jefferson and Lee don't have to be superstars. They just need to make plays (being perfect like they were last night sure helps) and don't put the defense in a tough situation.
