If lee is skipping classes and getting failing grades les hasn't let anyone know about it. He is taking the brunt of backlash from fans and not throwing lee under the bus about it. So it actually makes les more of a bad arse do anything for his players type of guy.

Les has had a man crush on JJ for 4 years. Its no big surprise and if you say you didn't see this coming, then you weren't paying attention.

Lee's benching had nothing to do with "missing class". Straight from Les' own mouth.

Try again.

Well, I wondered how long a 52-3 shellacking would keep the Rantards from crawling out of their holes. Looks like just about 12 hours.

These Rantards are really Retards. Les is 11-0 and you want my opinion of him to change. Go figure?

Hard to argue with the results, but in terms of Miles being a class act and man of honor, I would say that his handling of Lee tarnished that aspect of his reputation

Bunch of really awesome, logical responses in this thread. Glad to see not everyone is as clearly against JJ/Miles as the OP is.

I love Lee. I was one of the few posters on this whole board who didn't hate on him even in 2008 when most of his supporters now were booing him when he was hurt against Ole Miss.

I respect the fact that he never transferred, and I think he was the MVP of this team through the first 8 games, and really feel bad for him.

That said, anyone who lets our starting quarterback for the rest of the season change their opinion of Miles, probably hated him to begin with.

Also, I'm still not convinced that Lee won't see much more PT against Arkansas, possible SECCG, and bowl game, even though JJ will likely continue to start.

Miles has Petrino, Richt, and any other possible coach we'll face pulling their hair out trying to prepare for two completely different offenses right now.

If you can't see that, you really are blind.

It was not just missing class he is failing 3 classes and his gpa is in jeopardy of making him ineligible at semester. It hasn't been reported because Miles does not sell his players out to press to make himself look better.

Argue all you want this is a fact from multiple sources of program

Did you watch the first eight games of the season? The offense looked perfectly fine with Lee as the starter.

True...
And did you watch the 9th game (BAMA)....

LSU's offense was in a world of s#it with Lee at QB in that game. He got rocked and was rattled and threw TWO interceptions that we could not afford.

We're 11-0, apparently EVERYTHING this coaching staff is doing seems to be working.

Why does a portion of our fan base insist on being a bunch of Dr. Drew / Oprah types that insist on micro managing every aspect of this team.

STFU and enjoy the ride!

Serious question...Should Miles put the interests of one player over the interests of the team?

Miles' number 1 job is to make the football team the best he possibly can. He made the decision that he felt would best help this team.

Do you really need that answered?

Hell NO! It's all about the TEAM!

I'd be willing to bet that JL is that last person that would say his "interest" should be put above the interest of the team.

Any player that would want that, shouldn't be on the TEAM!

I would say that you are butthurt over Lee losing the "starting" position when it wasn't his to begin with. He filled in for JJ while JJ was handling other business. The same thing would have happened if JJ had been out sick. Lee would have filled in and when recuperated, JJ would have been brought up to speed and been #1 again.

Obviously the coaches thought JJ was #1 in fall practice for a reason and we're seeing it.

Be happy that the TEAM is #1 and quit microanalyzing every smirk, grimace, coaching decision, or dump that someone affiliated with the football program makes.

so you would have rathered lee play the whole game against bama and we get our arse kicked?? clearly lee took us as far as he was going to take us. he still gonna play in every game. sounds like some people would rather be 10-1 instead of 11-0 as long as jarrett doesnt get his feelings hurt! thats fricking pussy shite dude.. motherfrickers are getting benched on this team all over the place for making mistakes, not just lee! miles sees the big picture
