I really got tired of thinking that miles had to baby lees psyche through all this. Oh no JJ is back and Lee just got his confidence back oh no! Lees a senior and a grown arse man. Even though he's a QB he shouldn't need to be coddled. Just man up and play.

Well, your problem (and a few others) was thinking this was an issue.

I am past worrying about who starts. What we think doesn't matter. I am going to enjoy the rest of this season and hope that both QB.s leave as national champions with rings. ! for a SEC championship and the other for a national championship. Both have earned it just like every other player on the team. It is time to look forward to Arkansas. But seriously, anyone who thinks either QB will be drafted is drinking the purple cool aid. JL has a better chance of making a practice squad.

The issue on Lee and Miles' "handling" of him is the same as was for JJ:
Is it honorable / ethical?

How is it ethical or unethical? Is this true for who you play at corner back and linebacker or just qb?

I can't believe this thread still lives. It needs to die soon.

We all love Lee. Miles gives the impression that it is up yours....fans.

How is this so? Because some fans have a favorite? CLM has been consistent in showing that he prefers JJ at qb, so by not changing he gave an up yours to the fans?

Why do you care who plays tackle, guard or qb? I just want to win.

The issue isn't anything about kid gloves treatment. It's about throwing him in for passing situations when cold. Les has set him up to look bad - he did the same thing a year ago

I'm dying to lay a grand with "Hot Carl" that JJ goes undrafted. You can't make this shite up.

I'm here and you're absolutely on. We have witnesses. I will absoluely honor it if he goes undrafted. And make a public apology pleading for forgiveness.

I don't disagree with you, except is makes ZERO sense to put your #1 quarterback at risk in the second half when you are ahead 32 points.

Why did Miles do it?

He pissed in J. Lee's face. But more so, in the fans that were upset with his decision to start JJ.

There is no other way to rationalize it.

Miles is an arrogant a-hole to the fans, and he's proud of it. If you listen to what HE says, there is no mistaken of it.

If we lose any game this year, it will be because of HIS arrogance.

We have the players, we have the coaches to win it all.

Let's hope and pray his ego doesn't get in the way.

I both love, and fear, our coach. I can't be any more honest than that.

Since we're being honest, I have always enjoyed your work on the poli baord. But if you really believe what you typed here, I have lost respect for your intelligence. I just don't see how reasonable people can think like that. You haven't said it quite this way, but there are people who actually believe that Les Miles thinks Lee is the better quarterback, but just to spite the fans and display his power, he plays the inferior Jefferson as a big frick you. I just can't respect anybody who is that stupid.

What is your opinion on how Les should have handled Lee in the Bama game? He was pretty warmed up when he threw that first INT. The other one just looked like he was throwing it up to avoid getting hit. Lee earned that perception over the last 4 years on campus. He doesn't like to get hit.
