Did Mett get a legit chance to contend for the starting job?

I personally believe he could have outplayed both JL and JJ this year. He's extremely gifted and was obviously the best QB in the spring game. He has the ability to run like JJ and throw like JL. I think we would have turned in much more dominant performances with him at the helm. What say you?

PS: Not responding to flame attacks.

How can a post like this be responded to in any other way?

With ridiculous opinions like this, all you will get is "flame attacks."

Not trying to flame, but is it your opinion that all three of the qb's showed up for practice, Mett took them all too school, and ol' Les says

"i tellyawhat zach, you look damn strong out there. MUCH better than the other two guys. i think you need to sit on the bench" ?

Of course he didn't get a legit chance. Why would the coaches play the QB that gives the team its best chance of winning? They aren't stupid, you know.

He has a 173.0 quarterback rating this year. What does JJ and JL have?

Will you be complaining next year when Mett has us undefeated again about JR not getting a shot?

When Mett leads this team to a NC in much more dominant fashion next year people will wonder why he didn't

A collective 12 - 0 record while playing the toughest schedule in college football, and an upcoming birth in a conference championship AND national championship game.

Seriously man......

He is Brady, Manning and Joe Montana all in one. He runs like Mike Vick and can leap small buildings. The coaches saw all of that but just felt loyalty to the two headed monster of Lee and Jefferson.
Of course he got a legit chance to compete. He wasn't ready yet, hopefully he will be as good as you think he is.

ZOMG how did our coaching staff overlook such an obvious disparity in execution?!?
