Did La'el Collins ever sue Baton Rouge?

Watching the game and got to wondering if he ever sued the city for all money he lost in draft. I hope he did that guy deserves to be reimbursed for the BR incompetence and lack of ability to clear a non-suspect. Anyone know if he did?
ETA:He went from a first round pick to being undrafted because police brought him in the week of draft to interview him even though they said he wasn’t a suspect. How is this dumb?

I wonder how some people come up with this stuff on here.

When you have a board full of Duke graduates, this is what you get.

You wonder if he sued the city for investigating the murder of a woman?

He should. BRPD is a sham of an organization.

What’s dumb is that you see some sort of liability in the police investigating a crime.

Do you know how incredibly difficult it is to prevail in a suit against a police department?

Especially when they did nothing wrong.

What is dumb is bringing him in and not telling the public he is a non suspect when you know he literally has multimillion dollar interview that week.

Agreed but I would of given it a shot if I was him.

I don’t remember the specifics, he had a relationship to the victim, right? The police are fully in their right to question him. There’s no wrongdoing to substantiate any liability. C’mon man.

Part of what’s wrong with the “system”. They’re not held accountable like other people/organizations.

Accountable for what, questioning and clearing a man? Oh yeah, the man really did him wrong.

It was an ex girlfriend he hadn’t spoken to in over 6 months and they decided to bring him in less 5 days before the draft without releasing a statement when they knew he wasn’t a suspect. This is the definition of incompetence.

You also dont want cops to make investigative decisions based on civil liability
