yea he played some. I remember yelling at him to run up field instead of dancing around. bust imo.

Got you, I just couldn't remember, this explains why. He must have touched the ball when I blinked or something. He probably deserved more touches too.

bust imo.

Major bust. He really did well as a frosh when he had the great downfield big WR's who would light an opposing player up...that and the O-line was much better then.

He doesn't fit into Miles's style.

it is difficult to admit it, but neither will any of the other 'supposedly great backs' coming into the program under L.M.

My concern (and a caller brought it up on the 98.1 postgame show) is what do recruits who see RS on the sidelines think?

Keiland is gone anyway. He pulled a Justin Vincent. He and a few others aren't making any difference.

Lee, Scott, and williams were recruited when Jimbo was the coordinator. We run a completely different offense that does not nearly utilize the I formation sets that they used to look more comfortable in. I remember williams giving LSU a running game again in 2006. Too bad the last 3 years have been a waste. I don't see the running game getting any better with the middle of the line being a weakness

Actually, when you got 3 and out most drives, nobody but the QB and the center are going to get a lot of touches.

Williams is NOT a great back by any stretch. The guy doesn't see the LOS well as proven by his inability to find a hole but instead runs into a pile. What made JH great was his ability to move a yard or two to the left to find a crease. Williams simply runs where the play is designed...great if a hole is there...if not, no gain!

KW's feet and inabilty to shift directions/elude have been fatal to him. He's big and fast, but unless the hole is where it is supposed to be , when it's supposed to be, forget it.
It seems to take him 3 or 4 steps to change directions.By then, you are dead.

KW gets 3-4 carries a game. 2 of them, the second he gets the option pitch, hes tackled.

Yes, KW is the one designated to catch the option pitch 2 yards from the sideline on the short side of the field.
