How much does the XFL pay though ? Gordy can’t match that figure ? Is Jeremy thinking about coaching at some point ?

I'm not in the mind of JH but I don't this has anything to do with money or what Gordy can offer him. He probably just enjoys football and being part of a team/locker room and wants to see if he still has it. He can probably get his radio gig back afterwards, or some other similar gig, but he won't be able to play football ever again once he gets to a certain age. So this is him just shooting his last shot so he doesn't grow up asking himself any "what if" questions the rest of his life.

I think it's just more of a closure thing.

He's not going to be an NFL HOFer, but if he still wants to play, good for him. He's obviously not doing it for the money at this point.

I really enjoyed his commentary. I hope he does well and comes back when he's ready.

He’s a good dude and I wish him well but he offered nothing as a color guy. The guy had never watched an inning of LSU baseball in his life and was trying to talk about it during last season and it was just awful. I tuned if off numerous times when he started talking. Hunt can do just fine on his own or with Musso.

He talked about it last week on the show that he was going to try the XFL and he had been training up to play. I thought he had actually grown into the radio gig pretty well and wouldn’t mind him back when the XFL folds or he hangs it up for good. Hoping he can make a team in the XFL and get a couple of good years.
