I mean I would surely think not. He was pitching well up to that point, no runs. With so many scouts in attendance and watching on TV and me trying to show why I'm a legit top 6 draft pick you'd have to pull me off that field.. I understand precaution. He said no pain. I pitched for almost 18 years elementary school-college. Had Tommy John so I get being careful.

But if I feel something weird, no pain.. lemme throw about 6-8 pitches. If there is a real, career threatening injury that I can feel and get confirmation on what I'm feeling, yes I'm protecting my family's $$. If it's ANYTHING else. I'm not leaving the rubber. Pull me off Paul.. gotta have that dog in you when the lights are brightest. Marceaux has that.

It must've felt REALLY weird for him to react like he did, in no pain, and come out of the game. Hope he's ok. Hes a hell of a pitcher. We need him, bad.

Edit. I went to bed after the game. Just saw where he has a legit injury. Hate that for him. I agree with him to come out. I shouldn't have assumed since I didn't feel what he did. Speedy recovery!

I can't believe there are fans who believe Hill would fake an injury when his future depends on him being healthy.
I feel sorry for the guy.
Hope he recovers but it doesn't look good for his future in baseball.
