Its about time.

Songy + Hanigriff + a toned down Peej = Walter Cronkite? If Miles looses them has he lost the fanbase?

(Again, just going on what I'm reading here about Songy and Hanigriff)

Hard to say. We have done some good things and some bad things. September is about finding out what you can and can't do.

I will say this again. IF AND I MEAN IF LSU wants to be at the top at the end of the year, With the talent they have. They should be able to go out and say THIS IS WHAT WE DO. STOP US IF YOU CAN. THIS team does not have this mentalety and I don't see it coming.

Everyone should be on Miles. He's not a head coach but a cheerleader. Miles has no fire and way too little discipline, which is evident by the penalties, wasted timeouts, etc. I don't believe LSU under Miles will come close to a championship, SEC or National again. PJ is right. He won with Saban's recruits and now he must play with his and it isn't looking too good.

Any guess as to what could be going on? I'm thinking the people with all the $$$$ aren't happy with what is going on in regards to Miles' "hardhead" and unwillingness to change.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SABAN OTHER THAN THE FACT
It has everything to do with Saban. You guys see Bama play a dominate game and pine for him. There is only one Saban and he is not coming back to LSU. Who else is a great recruiter and has a team that plays physical dominate football?? Y'all are so quick to bitch about our coaching staff that has a proven track record at excellent recruiting and winning championships and want to get rid of them for WHO??? Who are you going to bring in that you are SURE is a better complete program coach? Wouldn't you be better off getting behind this team through the season and seeing how it all plays out before you start talking about firing a coach and contract buy-outs as we sit 4-0 and our biggest game of the young season is this weekend.

Bama plays a good game and that is on the coach. He is doing a hell of a job at Alabama.

I don't give a shite if he comes back or not.

Meyer and Carroll come to mind. Maybe not so much Pete this year but generally...yes.

How many people are actually saying to fire Miles right now? I've seen a few say IF A TREND CONTINUES but no "now".

Again, most people are saying IF it continues. In that case, I dunno who to bring in. Cross that bridge when/if it gets here.

Again, show me where someone has said FIRE HIM NOW.

MILES won a NC with alot of Saban's players. Get rid of him?? I never said that BUT if he goes 8-5 again he BETTER go 11-1 next year.

Butch Davis would be a good choice . As would Jim Leavitt from SFU!!!

I was on and yes he was with good reason. Miles has taken the playbook away from Crowton. I see NO PASSION in this football team and it ALL falls on Miles. I have said this since day one. The cuboard was full when he got here and it has slowly drifted away.

When we are doing ggod it is Crowton when Bad Miles. All based on the assumption by the Rant that Miles is a bumbling idiot that can barely feed himslef all so tiresome

they did talk about it some on buddy's show or scone's show afterwards. I was in and out today but they mentioned If he has 4 losses this year, next year he will have to win out almost which to me will be almost impossible consider what bama has in the stable.

SO Les next year will have to go undefeated? This is what passess for intelligent Sports Radio down there? No wonder so rand rants folks are retarded

And I don't get why people cite the 2003 Georgia game as an example of Saban's blunders while at LSU. Georgia was ranked #7 and we were #14, or so I believe. Georgia 03 was by no means a doormat opponent.
Never said they were a doormat. I was just pointing out how close we came to playing for nothing in Saban's most dominant season ever at LSU.
quote:

In Saban's first year, he was coaching a team that had won a combined 7 games the previous two seasons.
No one has talked about any of the games in 2000 or 2001. We have talked about the games from 2002 and on....after Saban had won a conference championship.
