bullshite, we had Max, Brennan and Tj. That’s 3 (three) qbs bringing our playbook and operating system to another team to say the least. All three could have been kick arse Qb with the right coaching and development. Lsu needs to get our shite together. No prospect want to play for a team that’s not consistent. Seems like every year. Every YEAR THERES A COACHING SHUFFLE. We need stability or we won’t be able to attract good players let alone keep the good ones that we have. Between last season and this season we have lost over 10-15 starters to the portal. As a consequence of that other players are looking at that and assuming that LSU is a shitty team to play for.

Max was mediocre+ at best. Our want to have a good QB made him that. Groupthink.

After the way he played this season, no, I think he would have gotten beat out in future seasons so it was wise for him to transfer
That said, he could have played the damn bowl game. I'll be pissed if Nuss has to burn a redshirt at this point because Max can't finish what he started. I don't usually give crap to players, but that's some weak sauce.

Screw the swagger. Johnson was not going to lose you games and can win you some. Nussmeier will lose you games...he proved it or did you not watch the Arkansas game. You do realize that when you throw more interceptions than touchdowns , that is not a good thing

Hell no. I never saw any progression throughout the year. Has no pocket presence. Just not an SEC caliber prospect. Best of luck to him but I am relieved he is gone.
