I would much rather have Hawthorne over Jim Henderson. I don't think he's all that good.

I don't think he's any worse than Verne. Danielson deserves better.

Doug is not any better. He kept bragging on the 2pt conversion calling the play a touchdown. They are just getting old. Give them a break

LSU could have Jim Henderson and y'all would still bitch.
I bitch at incompetence. I praise competence.

Funny how that works.

You all will be sorely disappointed and missing Jim when he no longer calls games.

Look at Larry Munson. Case closed.

Everybody is so damn quick to get rid of a coach (or in LSU's case a PBP announcer). Realize how good you have it and quit bitching.

Also, for those of you calling out his mistakes, then that means you were watching the game. Quit worrying about broadcast mistakes if you're able to watch the damn game.

Try and figure out the difference. Not really that difficult.

People used to say the same things about John Ferguson, God rest his soul, but during his era, he was the voice of LSU football. There are some classic Fergusonisms out there. My favorite was a call he made when a fullback we had carried up the middle. His call...."that was another case of Jim Binglis carrying the ball" !!! Classic John Ferguson.
Leave Jim alone and enjoy the ride !!!

When he gets exited and u cant understand him, we are doing something good. When he says holy cow, I dont believe this we are doing something bad.

You'd think there'd be improvement over those years, wouldn't you.

Lower the bar all you want, bad is bad.

And yes, LSU deserves better, whether I say it from La., Texas, or Cuba.

The difference is that I don't "bitch" about anything.

But seeing as you do bitch about some things, that makes you a bitch - at least when bitching about those certain things.

He may have made a mistaek or two but all in all he does a good job compared to others I have listened to. Be careful what you wish for...

People who bitch about him during a football game obviously have never listened to a radio broadcast of basketball. When Darrel and Tasmin Mitchell or Marcus and Quintin Thornton were on the team at the same time he was unbearable.
