He said they would physically destroy teams and it would be unfair.

This is part of the Curtis secret to success. Tommy Moffitt started it and Tommy Fabacher has continued it.

I have know Scott since we were kids playing at Johnny Bright in Metairie. He has always been energetic and enthusiastic about everything.

if we replaced moffit with cochran the bama machine would slow down greatly.

He is a good guy. Energetic and a little crazy at times, but it's not like he ran around shouting "yeah, yeah, yeah!" all the time in college.

Most Bama fans I know think that Cochran will be LSU's next strength and conditioning coach when Moffitt retires.

what dont you get? if we were to fire/retire Moffit and we got Scott Cochran from Bama they would start to decline. I think its safe to say Cochran has passed Moffit as the best strength coach in the sec. Cochran produces machines over at bama.

Cock is a really good dude, but he is a Moffitt rip off. There is nothing that he says or does that isn't imitating Coach Moffitt. Is he a little crazy? Yes, but not as extreme as he acts on the sideline and on tape.

any funny stories to share?

Cochran's genius is his ability to exploit his character/personality. The people at Bama love that shite.

Give moffitt genetically superior athletes of the same caliber Alabama has and the result would be the same. No doubt about it.

Having the number 1 recruiting class 4 straight years in a row, gives the S&C team a dream to work with.

They are equal because they run the same system. Cochran may be a more rah rah type, but moffitt has more experience.

Yes I've know him since we were kids? We grew up together. We played playground ball at Johnny Bright in Metairie. We then went to Christian a Brother School in City park. I believe he went to Brother Martin one year and transferred to John Curtis. We use to be good buddies, but the kid acts like a fool on television he looks like a complete jack arse and doesn't give credit to LSU or the coach that taught him everything he knows, Tommy Moffitt!

He graduated in 2001 or 2002. He was a year younger than me so couldn't have been in. 99 or 2000.
