If they outplayed us and still lost, that's a big fail somewhere!

Now I understand you can't read as I have taken two blatant shots at Saban in this very thread. I guess you missed those two posts when you were obsessing over my posting history.
Tell us more about how awesome Cade Foster is.

I agree and that big fail is Saban.

I see all you have left is to divert at this point. Nice try though. Reality is nice, you should try living in it tomorrow for once. Good night.

So you still think it's reasonable to have a guy that has never made a 50 yard field goal in his career, and had only made one field goal all year, was reasonable to be kicking said field goal?
Yeah dude, just a missed opportunity. It was a gimme. Even another poster said that those field goals didn't have the distance. You said he "shanked" them. give me a fricking break, you've been exposed.

Bama had 96 yards rushing to our 148! They definately ran all over us. Passing they had 199 to our 91 and we can understand that with Jefferson in. About half of their passing yards were from Trents two passes that were blown coverages by our LB's!! Bama had 17 first downs and LSU 15. Both had 2 turnovers.

@theunknownknight
The LSU D is opportunistic and aggressive - stats or points are not a high ranked component of Chavis'/Miles' game plan - refer to WVU/Oregon/MSU - giving up yards as well as low scoring.
The Bama D on the other hand is based on being run stuffers and preventing mistakes.
The Bama O had a heisman Running Back candidate TR and the LSU had a stable, which if we are truthful, is second tier to TR.
The LSU D contained Bama
The Bama D gave up thrice as many rushing yards to LSU as their average for the year.
LSU was the first team to get 100 yards rushing on the Bama D
The LSU D repeatedly stopped the Bama O from getting near the end zone and forced Saban to go for FGs from improbable (given the history of their KickerS) distances because he was not going to sniff the end zone for a TD.
In OT - when things are equal and start 0-0 - the LSU D came up big and sacked AJM.
The Bama D gave up a RUSHING 1st down and then proceeded to lose the game.
Yes Bama was indeed better

How about we stop talking about this subject. All this does is keep the dialog going. Let them think whatever they want. It's not the consensus of the nation. Tigers are overwhelming number one and most all are saying Bama blew their chance. This should be the end of it

rushing yards 148-96, we manhandled them in the trenches

This is the dumbest comment I've ever seen. Thats why we got our arse kicked by Ryan Mallet last year?

I think quite the opposite - if we keep talking about - no matter how deluded they are about thinking that they had the better team, better D, better O and better butter than I can't believe its butter
It still has to rankle that they lost the game. Every time they are forced to defend - it impinges in that daemon process that the reason they have to defend is because they couldn't do so on the field. That the talking has to be on message boards.
Don't tell me that they wouldn't be here throwing up the score till kingdom come if they had won the game.
Cartman does it best - the sad tears are indeed sweet.
(Thanks LSUFreek)

Haven't read the whole thread but here is how I view it.
Alabama had hands down a far superior team. The talent on their side of the ball out weighed our talent by a considerable amount. We shouldn't even be able to hang with them for a half much less a whole game.
Just boils down to their superior team got out coached!
Of course as dumb as the gumps are they still aren't going to accept that. It will be thrown back at you that LSU just got lucky.
Then on to plan B:
"Yep. we just got lucky and of course the refs obviously stole the game from Bama, in a biased Tiger fan can see that the refs were paid off or something."
Nothing hurts worse than getting beat by a superior team than getting beat by an inferior team that cheated.
Let them pick why they lost. The only answer that could make them feel even halfway ok with the loss is an option they will never take... LSU is superior. Let them wallow in their sorrows.

I'm watching the CST replay and it seems as though TR either quits or gets very winded during the 2nd half. Our DL is winning the LOS battle in the second half. Also, I think we have 4 honey badgers in our secondary!

It was an eye opener to see that Trent Richardson , who could not be stopped by one player alone, get tackled multiple times by Brandon Taylor, Sam and others one on one.

We took over the game. We won the los battles.
Folks that think Bama played considerably better than LSU are only thinking of a couple of busted plays.
We had:
More rushing yards
More ypc
Fewer loss of yardage plays
More points
We could have played two more quarters and beat them like a drum up and down the field

It's as simple as this. If Bama outplayed us, they would have the win.
