Rally 7th inning stretch!

We have a bunch of hits(2) and we are only in the 7th inning. But the pitchers have given up 8 hits. If we lose its their fault.

Losing those guys gave you powers to see that everyone but Stevie would drop off?

We're swinging away at 2-0 pitches, leading off an inning, down four runs.

I was completely wrong with how I thought this season would turn out. I thought we'd be fine hitting-wise this year with bregman, Ibarra, McMullen, and laird with another year under their belts and with Stevenson looking improved over the summer.
Same here. Bregman and Ibarra were sure things I figured.

No one saw that coming, I bet.

If anyone notices.. I defend the pitching more than most here after the losses. But this one is on them a bit. 5 runs are a lot to give up in the dead ball era.

Oh shite. We really need a homer here

If Bregs, McMullen, and Ibarra all return to '13 form we could make a strong run . . . I'm waiting, hoping.

The norm for an SEC team in a conference game is about 4.4 runs per game. I don't think 5 runs in a non-Friday game is horrible.
Posted on 5/10/14 at 11:57 pm to Doc Fenton
4.4 is average.. LSU has to score 6 runs to win. That's a lot to ask even for a good offense.
