He’s getting the Jacoby Stevens, switch positions 5x to find a spot and end back up out of position at Safety, treatment and I hate it

Probably because we’re so loaded at LB

Sitting behind a freshman is better than sitting behind a senior?

I don't care where he plays as long as he gets on the field. He worked hard in the off-season from what I have read.

Or because we don't have a LB coach capable of teaching someone to play the position.

Agreed but I’d think easiest path onto the field would be at S or LB?

Maybe he just isn't very good..at anything

Those are also the two hardest positions to play on defense... you can’t just throw someone in at safety. They either have safety instincts or they don’t. Look at our current safeties for example lol

Something is obv. off with him, I mean he couldn't crack the WR room, he cant crack the LB room, at this point, the staff is just trying to find him a spot and let him get his degree!!

id rather him sub in for Gilbert than Tory Carter

I can see why he can't get on the field at WR with all the guys we have, but LB is strange considering the lack of depth.

Eh, I don't hate this at all. Seems like his preference was WR so this is the next best thing if he can get on the field eventually as a receiving TE. He's probably too big/stiff at WR so hopefully he can be physical enough to contribute at TE.

The obvious answer is usually correct: He's just not very good at any of those positions and they are just trying to find him a home.

Great HS athlete but a bit of a tweeter at this level.
It happens.
Maybe TE/HB can be his home. He is certainly good enough to play some WR...just down on the depth chart.

Yep after watching Tory try to catch in the Missouri game I will take Devonta all day. Tory has the hands of stone

100%
I think this says a lot about Lee.

He came in as a safety/WR and was stated to be the best player on the field in the state championship game... O was taking a dig at sophser when he said that but Lee was a stud on the backend all game

Aranda is missed so much in the lb department
