With Bill Stewart coaching, and without Pat White, what defense has he seen better than what LSU has now (based on how they are currently playing)?

You know, all things are relative. If you are accustom to girls having most of their teeth, one with all of her teeth is a queen. Likewise, If you are accustom to playing Coastal Carolina, Marshall and Maryland you'd think you were the fastest athlete in the world. Just sayin', ... welcome to the SEC Mr Devine.

okay, first off, no one said it was offensive...just stupid to think it, muchless say it.

Devine gave praise to his fellow Florida native, saying Peterson is “a nice corner who is pretty fast,”

Sounds rather complimentary to me.

Nice corner? Seriously? PP is light years better than a "nice corner". And pretty fast? That is like saying Jessica Biel is kinda cute.

Come on! Let's hear the audio clip so we can put it in context.

Good Lord... after reading what you guys wrote, I was expecting Noel's comments to sound like Terrel Owens and Chad Ocho-whatever-cino all rolled into one.

Hell, he isn't even as fast as Florida's Jeffrey Demps and I know their offensive line isn't nearly as good.

Honestly, I expected a team with 2 NCs to be a bit more secure. I don't think you have too much faith in your own team. Maybe they really aren't as good as advertised, or you wouldn't get so upset over such inconsequential things.

I wouldn't say no to either one.

Unless it was to replace them with the mother on That 70s show....now she is smokin hot.

You're dealing with one of the most critical and paranoid fanbases in CFB.

Like I have been saying before, the performance history of LSU opponents making questionable assessments of LSU have not been very good.

We've been on the bad side of it too.

Maybe you have been in DC too long to know what a good sound thought is and to be able to determine that saying any thing that might be constuded as calling out the other team is just plain stupid when the other team is from the SEC. Don't think you playing in a basketball conference will help you tomorrow night!

No, actually I'm sitting in a Chemical Engineering Lab, laughing at swamp rats casting aspersions on others.

I'll definitely be back on Sunday morning. Win or lose. And if we win, I won't even run my mouth or have much to say. It's just a football game.

Am I worried that LSU will kill us? Of course! But, I also think we're 'capable' of beating you soundly if we can bring our A game and LSU doesn't. Obviously, every team comes here saying the same thing, blah blah blah, so who knows? I'm anxious to find out.

Why would I get upset? No way we lose this game.

different team, different players, different offense, and different coach (for 2003 obviously).

I grasp this concept, a lot of WVUs dont. You use the RR wide open spread option days as a basis for your team being prepared today. Completely different set of circumstances and factors, as it was for LSU in 03, 07, to now.

Not to mention, its a day before kickoff. People are searching for shite to argue about, hence how long this thread has gone on...

Same can be said inversely....that's why we keep coming back.

I just happen to believe that it is smarter to keep some things to yourself. I am quite sure our team is very secure. Why give another team any reason to be more fired up than they might otherwise be. I agree that if your blood doesn't get flowing for a Top 25 match up in your own stadium, there isn't much help for you. But why help in any way.

I think it would have been stupid to say it about Marshall and WE ARE

not Marshall.

And you think because on one day, a while back, you beat VPI, that means this will be the same game.
