Let's just say if Devine entered a reading contest with Frank Gore and Derek Zoolander, he'd come in 5th place.
from a UVA fan? dude, we're not debating whether linen is more breathable than seersucker here. stick to what you know.

quote:skip, your other posts have been quite reasonable. THIS, however doesn't equate. Think about it. Is it smart to give the opponent ANY bulletin board fodder? THIS LSU team doesn't really need any more fodder than sports media is currently providing....not to mention what this board provides on a weekly basis.
That's his opinion. How does that make him 'stupid'? Does your stupid-arse opinion make you stupid?

Seriously? That's all you got? So WVU fans are dumb and lazy -- not willing to put in the effort to come up with something more creative.
Next thing you know, you guys will be saying: "I know you are but what am I?"

Well, where does PP rank in the smarts department?

Perhaps this team hasn't, but WVU has seen plenty of defenses better than what LSU puts on the field this year.
Exactly.
And remember the ones that shut WVU's offense down?
That's what the LSU defense will look like.

And, "He's an idiot" is creative?

Actually, from all accounts the kid is pretty sharp. I am not going to claim to have access to his grades, but seems to be pretty bright.

Honestly, you can hate on Devine all you want. I really don't care. In my eyes, he serves as a great success story for inner-city youth today.
The only reason he came back for his senior year was to be the first person in his family with a college degree. It actually meant something to him. The kid was never supposed to be where he is today. He could have easily ended up in prison or dead.
But, what do you know? You haven't followed him since his freshman year. You don't watch him every game. You don't listen to him each week. He's overcome some tremendous odds and grown into a soft-spoken, humble, and respectable young man. Everyone bet he would fail. Time after time after time. They were all wrong. Trade pasts with Noel, tell me how it feels.

I consider myself to be pretty sharp but you sure as sh*t wouldn't want me in your defensive backfield. I don't care how smart Patterson is, the kid can play and so can Devine.

PP was going to early enroll until meyer flagged his ACT score and PP had to go through the clearinghouse

It doesn't make him stupid for thinking it. It is pretty stupid to say it.
Like I said, thanks to Devine. Just in case the D needed a reason to play lights out, this ought to help.
