The other night scrolling through facebook Devin White was on live facebook chatting with a friend or something. During the conversation it was brought up about school and so on and DW said he wanted to stay and get his degree, he said he is happy and isnt hurting but made it obvious that he knows he can go make some serious jack, I know these guys are kids and say things like this till that dollars sign is presented but man that would be awesome to see him another year.

Also i hope we can keep it close because if he comes out in the second half with fresh legs and the game is close that is a huge advantage.

I keep hearing all these analyst say staying isnt worth it. But how do you pass up a FREE degree? I know he would go and make a literal ton of money in the NFL but him coming back would help change the idea of going early

You just answered your own question. That’s just too much money to pass up.

Passing up first round money would be hard to ask a 22 year old to do

Yep. A degree in sports administration pays about 42k/yr. that’s about $1.6m over 40 years.

A top 5 draft pick salary plus signing bonus is worth $25m.

He gone.

Since he was an early enrollee, I'd be willing to guess that he will be able to graduate before next year. I'd imagine that if he was taking winter classes, summer classes, and the spring semester when he enrolled early, he could probably graduate and go pro after this year...

But it sure would be nice to see a top pick stay for 4 years! Wonder if he has taken out an insurance policy on himself similar to what Fournette and other big names have done? I don't know the details on how all that works...but seems to be a good move for him especially if he decides to stay for senior year.

If he played for bama he would stay and be a fifth year senior. It’s about time the good guys stay to be a senior.

But I cannot blame him if he does go..
