It's not for no reason. It's because on his two biggest stages so far (Army AA bowl and UF spring game), he has been an interception machine.
He backed out because of the negativity surrounding the program last fall, particularly the narrative that Les is a QB killer. Our fans pump this theory out more than anyone, and then wonder why we have a hard time as a program signing QBs.
I don't blame him for going to a top in state school. I DO think he's insane for demanding that he be promised early playing time. He won't get on the field any sooner at UF than he would have at LSU. He has a lot of skill and potential, but he also needs a lot of work to put it all together. That's the truth.

I don't understand why people get so emotional over an 18 year old making a life altering decision that pertains only to him. So he didn't come to play at LSU so what get over it. And it's way to early to write this kid off at UF. With proper coaching he may reach his potential.

I'm not bitter at all and am actually grateful that we have Scott Jr over Franks but for those who may not have followed this guys recruitment:
He got all pissy when we were talking to Shea Patterson actually tweeting things about "honoring commitments."
Stayed commited for over a year knowing we were putting all our faith in him being the only QB of the class (seemingly at his request) then when the season started going south, he starts visiting UF every weekend.
He then flipped to UF 60 days before National Signing Day, leaving us high and dry.
Then was quoted as saying he wasn't happy at all that Jacob Eason (5 star UGA QB) was visiting UF after he committed.
The dude is a huge self absorbed cry baby bitch and deserves whatever trash talk comes his way.

Welcome to college football recruiting
Also you left out the part where most LSU fans were trying to push les miles out the door
If he has another rough year he's probably gone

Man, come on?? None of that shite you say is true. Franks didn't leave LSU high and dry or else they wouldn't have got Scott. I don't believe any of that about him sweating Patterson. The dude left due to concerns probably with the shite offense they run at LSU that has to change. The kid has the right to reserve judgement, but now that he's gone, he's gone. He's the enemy now! But I'm not mad at him for leaving because he opened the door for Scott.

No reason to take anything your post seriously.
You have been anti LSU since you started posting here.

Would anyone be surprised if Franks left Florida after one season? I sure wouldn't.

Hell, Ricky Town left USC before his first season. Nothing would surprise me regarding QB transfers these days.

So, in other words, fk him and the horse he rode in on!!!!!

Well he obviously has some serious work to put in so not sure what the plan would be there or the reason for the transfer
If he feels like he got screwed and should be starting game 1 well lol lets just say that would not be wise
I mean it's pretty much consensus our 2 star recruit kyle trask is farther ahead at this point

As I recall, Franks started leaning to UF before the 3 game skid, while we were ranked #2. We didn't like losing him, but to be fair to the kid, he didn't pull a Toshiro or anything like that. Recruits decommit, not a big deal.

I haven't trusted him ever since he told Andy Dufresne "You're gonna look real funny sucking my dick with no teeth."

Devin White is going to be fun to watch.

I'm not for calling kids' decisions garbage because they backed out of a decision. The kid is immature--if you can't keep a commitment, you get a divorce. Many on here act as if it's someone's "ex" if someone makes a decision against the prevailing thought. Forgive the kid and go on--forgiveness is cyclical--if you do so, you are forgiven. If not, you live in misery. So many stay angry because they harbor bitterness--and it's very evident here on the Rant. You are better if you let a kid's decision be his/her problem rather than yours.

franks is total garbage. glad LSU missed on him.
There's no need for sour grapes comments. We all thought he was great when he was committed to LSU. I have no idea how good he will be, but he didn't just suddenly become garbage because he decided to go to Florida.
