Deuce quickly became one of my favorite players on the new team and was being compared to Warren Sapp. The last 3-4 games it has been a noticeable difference. Any thoughts on how someone could be so dominate early in the season then become average? I expected him to be huge in the Bama game and just kept seeing him jog to the sidelines being swapped out and looked fatigued. You guys think he has some sort of injury or wasn't ready for the stamina needed for a schedule like this?

Playing better talent and overmatched size wise. His game is technique and quickness but at 280 the road graders will stuff him.

Look at Harold Perkins. Some defensive players in recent years have had memorable games and then they just play average to below average games. It’s weird.

He's still really good. The problem is, he plays for LSU and LSU had to play Bama. Bama owns everything LSU. Our lines never match their lines. You don't have to worry about Duece. he'll have plenty of offers from other schools.

He’s eating double teams now because no one next to him is worth a shite. This is what sucks about Big Rich being out. You can make Geralds eat double teams all day because Green, McKinley and whoever else is there sucks. Everytime Anderson has came in this year he stuffs shite.

A true freshman maintaining the high level of play he started the season with is a lot to ask

He is still playing well but has kind of hit the freshman wall

It happens

I think it’s more what was mentioned above. You didn’t hear Anderson’s name called often because teams had to double team him, turning Deuce loose.

Actually pisses me off a bit that anyone would criticizing him
He’s a friggin freshman in SEC, who good coaches & teams are scheming against. Teams can’t double on our DE cause of him. Our defense gave up 285 yds. We got caught in some blitzes and punt return hurt.
I do think when defending inside ten needs to be better
If we SCORE when we should & not give up with 8 minutes (Coach)
we be praising Deuce & D

I honestly think with his mentality he know understand what it takes to maintain play at a high level in this conference and he will work hard to build his stamina up for next year. I love the play and his maturity as I watched every LSU home game this year he was double teamed earlier in the year and still was blasting through them. Hopefully he doesn't portal out if Blake does leave.

The checks cleared either way. Human nature of that age bracket is easy to figure out if u out some thought in to it. How can so many people not understand this.
