This. Why does anyone think Alleva would let him on campus?

He is out after early signing period. Will not coach bowl game. That comes from a reasonably trusted source.

Ol miss would be a dirty program regardless of who was coach.

Canada has been a one and done at several stops. Of course, you miserable fricks would rather put the blame on O. It is who you are. Just ignore Canada's track record.

Real underlying question: Is LSU ready to eat the remaining two years of Canada contract ($1.5 million per year for two more years maybe) when LSU just beat Texas A&M with an impressive offensive efficiency and high yardage output?

No way to spin that in a good direction, and recent uncertainty is not helping our offensive recruiting efforts...

If you knew Canada had issues at other places, shouldn’t have O?

And if he did why hire a guy that has issues at, as you say, “several stops”?

Kinda risky don’t ya think?

I swear , it’s like most of y’all want him gone as if O can just go pluck an OC from anywhere

And to those of you saying Briles or Freeze, I want you to take your computer, and slam your head into it.

For 1.5 million, I'm pretty sure he can pluck one that can do better than 72nd in the country in scoring.

O had one plan, and he convinced the powers that be that he would bring in Kiffin as OC. After that fell apart O didn’t know what to do.

We did just as well the year before.

Can someone tell me what is so special about the Canada offense?
Besides all the running around pre snap and jet sweeps?

Is he going to interfere with the next OCs gameplan like he did with Canada’s?

After the bama game LSU beat all 3 opponents by 20+ points.

You Otards can’t make up your mind. LSU finished strong and beat the pants off teams but apparently the offense sucked hot nuts despite scoring 30 or more in the final 3 games.

So let’s say fck it and go get a new OC

That works for the Otards because when LSU goes 7-5 next year y’all can cite the new OC as an excuse for the inevitable backslide.

If he takes another position vs being fired we don't owe him a dime. We are not firing Canada.

Offense and 18th ranked Defense and No Top Ten Finishes. Justify that.

I think going off of rankings is not the single metric that you should use to measure success. If we’d had an even easier SOS, both would’ve been ranked higher. Would that mean, then, that the coordinators were worth their contracts? Do you think the UTSA DC is better than Aranda?

I, for one, wouldn’t trade Aranda for anyone, and I think Canada was a huge upgrade, even if his numbers didn’t overwhelm compared to some past years’ results.

There would have been a transition period with ANY OC we would have hired. Nobody would have come in here and turned Etling into Drew Brees over the summer or made our freshman into SEC ready QBs. Not with our O-line as troubled as it was to start the season. We’re not Bama with 3 layers of 5 star players to surround the QB and make up for the weaknesses. Neither are we any of those schools in other conferences who don’t have to go up against SEC defenses every week.

We wanted to change our offense away from something which had been in place for eleven years. It’s like trying to spin an aircraft carrier.

Really not liking this if true. We need someone to keep Oregeronski in check.
